[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very sensitive touch pads. Must push sensitive buttons in a certain order just to start the dryer. Touch the first one lightly, then you have to hold the other one. Door switch is touchy, sometimes need to slam the door to restart it. While I am a loyal Maytag buyer, I regret selecting this model and wish I would have purchased a model without electronic controls.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm so glad I chose this dryer! Last year my 25 year old Kenmore washer tapped out. I replaced it with the brand being touted as America's most dependable at the time. I'm not impressed. So when the dryer joined its departed partner, I looked more closely at the Maytags. This thing is elegant but sturdy. It's smart but intuitive. It figures--then periodically refigures--when my clothes will be dry; and when they're done, the dryer sends me a notification! No glitches of any sort. All drying, no drama. I reeaaally wish I'd ignored the hype over inferior brand x. I doubt I'll wait another 25 years before I install a Maytag washer next to this remarkable Maytag dryer.
