2 in 6 months - both broke.

When this machine works, it’s great. But more often than not, it simply doesn’t work. My first one broke after less than a year, and thankfully Nespresso sent a replacement machine. Then 2 months into the replacement, that broke too. It randomly started leaking water everywhere and it wouldn’t even let me do a factory reset. So now I’m on to a third machine. I’m switching models because the Vertuo Next is just not reliable. Not sure what went wrong when Nespresso was creating this specific model, but don’t even bother with it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bad

I had 2 machines that both stopped working in under a year of having them. Now they require a video call to troubleshoot and I don’t have access to do that. I would not recommend anyone buy this.

Don't waste your money

My children bought me the Vertuo Next as a Christmas present. It worked a few times but the coffee was never hot. It would not ever connect to my Wifi and now the machine doesnt work at all. So disappointed that I threw away the box.

Same issues as many others

Just like the other reviews. It was great for 3-4 months of mild use and then it started leaking. Nespresso is sending out a replacement but it seems like they only last 3-4 months before they go bad. Warranty doesn’t reset so in one year it’s going to break again and then I’ll have to buy another one because it won’t be covered.

Pick a different machine

I got the Vertuo Next a little over one year ago. It continues to have the same issue. When trying to brew, the machine will heat up, then flash orange twice, and stop. I have to reset the machine multiple times, unplug it, wait, and then sometimes it will work. You can imagine how upsetting this can be at 4am... I have gone through trouble shooting tips over the phone and via chat. Save yourself the headache and skip this machine.

Very bad quality

After less than one year the machine is down. Nespresso machines are not robust. You pay too much for the quality you have. It's my second machine in one year very unhappy.

Broke within 6 months

The coffee was delicious, but this machine worked inconsistently at best, then it completely died inside of six months of light to moderate use. I reached out to Nespresso who informed me it would require a FaceTime troubleshooting session in order for them to help me. This machine is so basic it plugs in and has one button, what is there to troubleshoot? I expected better service after such a short amount of time owning the product.

Unreliable

I have had 3 of these machines as they keep breaking on me for vaarious reasons. My first leaked coffee out of it's base, my second's cleaning function never was able to activate so it broke down, and I am on my third. Thankfully Nespresso keeps replacing it under warently, but 3 machines in 8 months is ridiculus.
