I don't know what people are complaining about, probably just user error, but this machine is great and the variety of coffee it makes is simply amazing! The coffee tastes great whether made into lattes, iced lattes, or just plain coffee! Highly recommended with the aeroccino 3 frother! Goodbye starbucks!

Broke after two years of a single user

I love Nespresso, I love coffee. I drink 4 or 5 cups of coffee every day. But I am also the only user. Two years later, it broke, it can clean, it can descale, it just won't brew anything! Very frustrating!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for your review, JV. We share in your frustration regarding your experience with your Vertuo Next machine. We certainly want your Nespresso experience to be special and exactly to your satisfaction. We suggest when turning on your machine, allow your machine to warm up. The light will begin to pulse slowly for about 30 seconds, indicating the “warm-up” phase. Once the light is steady the machine is ready for use. Insert your Nespresso capsule, and ensure the lever is fully locked. The lever must go past the lock symbol and there should be a slight click sound when fully locked. For best maintenance for your Vertuo Next, we recommend to always eject the used capsule after every use, run the Clean Cycle once a week to eliminate coffee grounds build up within the brew unit, and descale your machine every three months. All removable spare parts, including the water tank, should be washed by hand at least once a week. The Vertuo Next comes with a one-year warranty and a lifetime of troubleshooting support through Nespresso. Amazing Coffee and Espresso machine! :)

I’m surprised at the one star reviews because this machine has been perfect! The coffee is perfect the espresso is great. I’m just learning which flavors I like best and recently got a milk frother cuz I have heard that is a game changer! LOVE this product. Wish it was cheaper lol

Very disappointed

Our second machine and still always an issue. We constantly maintain and descale when needed and still the machine doesn’t work.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so looking forward to loving the Nespresso Next, and I had such high expectations. Unfortunately, the Verturo Next did not live up to them. My major grievance and flaw of the machine I got, is that it only makes a small shot of espresso, even when it is filled to the top with water. I'm certain something is wrong with my machine. My husband and my son have tried to get it to work correctly, but that's all I get of coffee. Now the flavor of the espresso is absolutely delicious. Another thing, that discouraged me is that I received the black and white Nespresso, and not the solid black that was on the box.
Cons: Does not make enough coffee in a cup
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
