Delicious coffee when the machine works

I bought my first machine and i love the coffee I could make with it- this machine stopped working after about 2 months. I called and was able to get a new one sent to me. I used this second machine for about 3 months and it stopped working too. Definitely would not purchase again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Do not buy

this machine is not reliable. I have had a pixie for 9 years which has worked well the entire time. This machine has had error codes on and off since the first year. It completely stopped working after year two. I would not recommend anyone buy this machine

A disappointment

"Upgraded" from the VirtuoPlus machine thinking this was the latest and greatest, and it just doesn't work nearly as well.
Initially I thought the coffee didn't quite taste as good, but maybe that was in my head.
The bigger problem is how fast(~2 months) it gets dirty and gets a gross burnt/ashy taste, and the cleaning cycle and cleaning liquid just can't seem to get it clean.
It's now been about 7 months and it has completely stopped working. There are only 2 of us using it on the house, avg 2 coffees each (4 total) per day. We can usually get it to work for one coffee between each cleaning cycle at this point.
We have done the full chemical cleaning with the Nespresso brand cleaner 3 times(every 2 months) and leading up to having to run it between every pod, we would run the "quick" clean probably twice a month on average.
The VirtuoPlus we had for 2 years before getting this "upgrade" and we did the quick clean maybe once every 2 months and the chemical clean every 6 months without having any issues.
The carafe size was an interesting idea, but ultimately we only used it maybe 3 times when we first got it, and decided the single cup quality was just so much better that we didn't want to keep doing the carafe.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We also recommend descaling your machine every three months or 300 capsules, whichever comes first. 2 machines, faulty button

We've gone through 2 of these machines - both lasted <9 months. The button/electronics was faulty both times. Although this is frustrating, Nespresso has been very helpful and has offered to replace the machine both times.

HORRIBLY DEFECTIVE - will last about 1 year max

If you love Nespresso and you’re thinking about upgrading from original line to vertus line, DO NOT BUY THIS MACHINE!! That was my situation two years ago. My first machine lasted nearly a year and then stopped working despite maintenance every time the light said it was time to clean/descale.
To their credit, Nespresso replaced the machine. Another year later, the new machine is having the exact same problem. This time, Nespresso keeps giving me the run-around. To be honest, I think at this stage, they know this machine is horribly defective and they don’t want to acknowledge it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Don’t buy

Terrible. I’ve purchased several Nepresso machines and this is by far the worst. The first one was traded back in under warranty because it malfunctioned. The current one is just over a year old. Every morning I’m struggling with the lid. It’s just insane!

horrible machine

I brought this machine and was so excited to get it. I had another Nespresso machine for 6 years and it was great but it broke and I needed another one quick. Out of the box this did not work. Where is the QC control before it leaves the factory? I returned it within a day and now I will just wait until black Friday to get the tried and true older model. You would think with all these bad reviews on this product that something would be done or get it off the market. I was also behind another person returning the same product. Love Nespresso coffee, hated this machine!
