Disaster.

This device, in all honesty should've been recalled! I have owned my "first" unit since April 2020 and within that time frame there have been countless tech support phone calls/video calls, replacement parts, and as well as full machine replacements (May 2022). The error messages, the cleaning process, the fighter jet sounds it makes, the coffee missing the cup, and the time it takes to fix and troubleshoot is absurd. The tech support has been helpful, caring and friendly. But owning this machine- (Vertuo Next) has been a full time job. Please buy any other Vertuo machine. Any of them! Just not this one. I love my Nespresso (4 year owner), the brand and their impact to the environment- but please do not buy this... Even if you see it on a major discount. It's easier to take care of a child then this machine. Do your research before you buy. I understand there are "some" positive reviews, but take them with a minuscule grain of salt.

Stops working

I have had 2 replacement coffee maker less than a year. Both times they just stopped working Mechanic are terrible coffee is great. I always use bottled filter water so not sure what this issue is . Pretty disappointed

The VertuoNext machine comes with a one-year warranty and we're happy to offer lifetime troubleshooting support. The machine must be regularly descaled regardless of the type of water used. That should be performed with the Nespresso descaling kit every three months or every 300 capsules used, whichever comes first. We're happy to learn you've received a replacement machine. x2 Next machines broke, Superior customer service

I initially got the Vertuno Next deluxe version as an Xmas gift from wife. It worked for 2 weeks then just stopped working all together. Nespresso replaced with another for free. 2nd machine lasted for maybe 9-10 months (without heavy use and frequent care) and it broke again. Was leaking with every cup made, then it stopped reading the pod barcode. Called Nespresso again, and they said I could try a different model. Currently have the Vertuo Evoluo for past week with no issues, hopefully none. Excellent coffee.
As others have said, their saving grace is their customer service. They make great coffee when the machines work, but they are quick to help you with another machine if yours breaks down. I am loyal customer mainly because of their customer service.

honestly, the machine tends to give you issues after a couple months. mine has been leaking for quite awhile… however, nespresso has quality coffee I will admit! but it’s better to get the vertuo plus or something that may cost a little more to avoid all the hot mess this machine will give you.

Do not purchase, broken in a year!

I do not recommend this Nespresso machine. It broke in just a year and a month into use and the process for repair is a pain and ultimately you'll have to buy another machine to replace. Highly advise against this. Save your money and your time!

Buyer beware

My wife and I got ours as a gift a couple of months ago. Like many next owners we started having issues only a few months in. The design is flawed and internal parts breakdown quickly. After a few months ours started leaking brown liquid out of the bottom onto our counter. Please if you’re going to get a vertuo line get anything but the NEXT it’s not worth the trouble. The customer service was good and offered a replacement. Unfortunately for us they replaced our old next with a new one so I fully expect to need another replacement in a few more months.

Stay Away from the Vertuo Next

I originally had a Nespresso machine that lasted 5 years before the motor got so loud it was time to throw it away and purchase a new one because I love the quality of coffee these machines brew. I purchased the Vertuo Next because I was excited about having the option to brew a carafe. My first one lasted 6 months before it just completely stopped working. I pressed the button and it would turn orange indicating a malfunction, and it would occasionally leak. Customer service did a troubleshoot and we got it to work for another couple of days before it malfunctioned again. They promptly sent me a new one which only lasted 7 months. Again, I called customer service and we got it to work for 1 day before it malfunctioned again. Customer service has decided to send me a different machine, the Vertuo Plus. Hopefully this machine will not give me any problems and maybe they will work out the kinks on the Next someday.

Back to the Vertuo Plus!

I bought this a month ago for my Airbnb because I am a devoted Nespresso fan. Within one month, my guests are getting multiple error messages in one day and it is tripping the breaker. It is clunky and I hate the manual mechanism when closing the capsule compartment. Not nearly as elegant as the Next. I'm going back!
