Great machine, died in 6 months :(

Virtuo plus gift for Christmas. I have to say I absolutely love my machine, WHEN it's working. After 6 months ths of treating it wonderful, it finally poured a cold cup of coffee, and started blinking red, called customer service, now a new one is being sent to me. This was after 6 months. I will sat customer service was great. Only 1 issue, and it makes sense, but they are replacing my machine with a brand new one. I would expect to get the 1 year warranty as any other new one, but no it just goes for the remaining 6 months. We will see how it works out. I have a classic that has never had a problem. This was a gift from my wife for Christmas, so it holds alot of sentimental value to me. I'm a 1, sometimes 2 cups a day person, and I cleaned the machine every week to 10 days. Descaled monthly. I treated this thing great. Seemed like alot of upkeep. I really do love the coffee it brews, especially when I use my refillable pod and use my fresh matagalpa coffee, which I guess is my second gripe. Why isn't there a better selection of pods? Why is there not a well made refillable? Anyways, as far as a review, if you love good coffee, try this machine out, or maybe the classic.. I look forward to seeing more products and coffees, available in more places (reusable pods!)

We do not test the compatibility of competitor capsules with Nespresso machines, as we specialize in specialty coffee grown from our farmers from all over the world, to create our Vertuo blends to brew in our Vertuo machine models. Therefore, we're unable to provide information regarding capsules not manufactured by Nespresso which are used in our Nespresso machine models. As part of your machine maintenance, we recommend the first-time use steps at least once a week, to flush water through the head of your machine and rinse away any coffee granule buildup. Compact, easy to use, great for office

Couldn't Do Without It!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our original Vertuo machine finally bit the dust. We went for about 10 days without one and couldn't go 1 more. This new machine fits in our smaller kitchen and works as well as our larger Vertuo in our Florida kitchen. Of course we are a two-machine family.

Great iced coffee

Not only am I happy with the quality of each cup of coffee, I love my machine for it's look. It works wonderfully and is much more attractive in my kitchen. I also appreciate the ease of recycling!

Not only do all the capsules taste amazing but the size is perfect for my apartment counter! Was so happy with mine that I purchased another one for my brother and sister-in-law!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had tried the Nespresso next at my sons house when visiting him. He noticed how much I was loving the ease and convenience of making amazing coffee drinks and gifted me one for my birthday. I have been enjoying it ever since! The espresso is delicious and knowing it’s there waiting for me in the morning helps get me going.
My sister was visiting me and fell in love with my machine too so I got her one for her birthday! We are becoming quite the Nespresso family!

Use it every day!

I bought this a few months ago, taking a risk after reading reviews where people said that it didn't work, but it works great so far. Love it!
The only thing that bugs me is that I feel like my coffee is not hot enough. I know that the machine is set to brew at the perfect temperature for the specified pod, but I always have to end up microwaving my mug for 30 seconds after a brew.
Other than that, it is heaven :)

Good machine, but is broke often.

I bought this machine two year ago, and it makes very delicious and smelling coffee. Unfortunately, this broke down very often. Once in a 3-4 months the yellow color it’s start blinking. Usually, I fixed it all the time but now this process isn’t working.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Please kindly note that descaling is required every 3-4 months, or after every 300 capsules. A blinking light may indicate that descaling is required as part of regular machine maintenance.
