Loved it until it didn't work as good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I LOVED my new hand blender. It was so easy to use and prepare food for my infant. Everything mashed perfectly and quickly. Easily adjusting the speed of the blender just by pushing a button as much as i needed to or pushing down with the hand blender made it so easy and convenient. I also loved that the blender did not splash at all when using it - my favorite feature. I could tell the blender had a great amount of power and I loved it. I stopped using my other hand blender immediately. Cleaning the attachment was also so easy. Just putting it under the running water got all the food out. Didn't need to scrub with anything.
The reason I gave it 4 stars was because after 3 months of use, something happened to the hand blender attachment and it has become very difficult to attach it to the handle. Also there is a burning plastic smell that is emitted when I use. So I stopped using it and went back to using my old hand blender but I miss using my Braun hand blender.

The best hand blender!

It's so easy to adjust the speed, and I love that there's no pre-set speeds that I have to follow. It blends everything smoothly and with ease, and the attachments are easily changeable. This is so much better than my old blender and I recommend it to everyone!

Super Powerful!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great immersion hand blender! It's very powerful and easy to use. The blender feels sturdy and is comfortable to hold. It is not too heavy. The engine is quiet, especially considering how powerful it is. I love pureeing soups with this blender! It works much faster than any immersion hand blender I've use before.
My favorite feature is that the speed changes depending on how much you squeeze and there are no preset speed buttons. This really helps with not making a mess - you can start off slowly in the beginning and add speed as you go. There is very little splashing!
It comes with several attachments/accessories. I find the whisk and chopper very useful. The attachments are easy to take on and off. The whisk attachment does a great job making whipped cream and beating eggs. So much better than dragging out my stand mixer! The chopper has easily handled everything I've thrown its way! It grips your counter well and doesn't move as you're using it.
Everything disassembles easily for cleaning I highly recommend this immersion hand blender!

Amazing little tool

It is great as a hand blender for a post-workout shake, a food processor for prepping work, and a traditional emulsifier for making a soup or sauce. Great Product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although I already had a hand blender from another brand, I am happy to get rid of it in order to keep the Braun MultiQuick 7 Hand Blender. the MultiQuick 7 is extremely simple to use (to the point that my 4-year-old has been able to safely help) and very comfortable in the hand. It also has the power to easily process whatever you are blending without too much fuss. I've had great success with making smoothies and slushes during the hot summer months and can't wait to try it out on autumn and winter soups in the coming seasons!

Great multipurpose hand blender

Being an at home dad for our toddler, nutrition, variety and time are important to me. I have done the majority of the cooking for our family for over 20 years and have had a stick blender in the tool box for much of that time.
We received the Braun MultiQuick 7 hand blender through the Stellar Product Testing panel. Over the past several months of crafting soups, jellies, sauces and whisking together various wet ingredients, the Braun MultiQuick 7 hand blender is a solid performer that is fun to use and easy to clean.
The active blade feature allows for fast, simple and thorough cleaning. The all metal bell housing is spring loaded and extends slightly exposing the blade to allow easy cleaning underneath. No more awkwardly flossing sticky ingredients from under the blades when cleaning.
The active blade allows for greater control of the consistency of your blend. Pressing the wand down firmly on larger ingredients will break them up faster with more accuracy. A lighter touch will allow for a good blend while retaining larger chunks great for hearty soups and sauces.
The trigger control took some getting used to as other stick blenders I have used had either single speed or variable speed selection with an on/off button. The trigger control really shines when using the whisking attachment; whether you are whisking eggs for omelets or combining other wet ingredients you can start slow and apply power gradually to avoid spraying ingredients all over the kitchen.
For some users with limited grip strength having to keep the trigger depressed during longer blends may be more difficult. The all metal bell housing is sturdy and easy to clean, however it should not be used with nonstick cookware as it could damage the coating.
Overall, I would recommend the Braun MultiQuick 7 hand blender. It is sturdy, easy to clean and the variable speed/power trigger allows the home chef to finesse their food prep in a fun and more convenient manner.

Great multi-use piece!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This hand blender was awesome! I LOVED that the speed was controllable with one single finger on the button. It made blending easier for me, and my 5-year-old was able to use it when cooking with me (she normally doesn't have big enough hands or enough control to use a hand blender). This is the only hand blender we have that she can use safely! I also feel like the hand blender and accessories with it were easier to clean than a lot of cooking products likes this - most of it went into the dishwasher easily and came out spotless. We have been using it a lot for small servings of fresh berry smoothies, and anytime we need to puree fresh veggies for a dish. The blending wand itself is my favorite part of this set, but I also found the whisk very useful. It really make incorporating fresh fruits and veggies into recipes MUCH easier. The only critique I have is that I wish it came with a small storage compartment or bag to keep all of the pieces together in the cupboard. Overall, I love it and highly recommend!
