[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The more I use this hand blender the more I like it! It’s so versatile and I’ve used it for way more foods than I thought I would. Family favorites are smoothies, Pico de Gallo, broccoli cheddar soup, and all kinds of marinades (purée onions, garlic, etc.). The best feature in my opinion is the location of the on/off button - it seems like it wouldn’t be a big deal, but when you’re making smoothies with frozen fruit it really keeps your hand from cramping! The Braun also handles the food really well and just blends it - no stopping or getting compacted with frozen fruits. Thank you Stellar Product Testing panel for the opportunity to try out this awesome hand blender! It has become one of my regularly used items in my kitchen!

Great multi-functional mixer

I’ve used this handheld mixer to purée soup, make whipped cream and mix a milkshake with ice cream and crushed Oreos. It worked great at all of it.
I especially like how good it is at making whipped cream. Using the beater attachment and the provided cup, it make whipped cream quickly and mess free. My prior hand blender could not do whipped cream so I love this feature.
The mixer is a nice size and weight. It’s easy to hold with one hand. The variable speed button was new to me and it was easy to figure out. It’s very intuitive. Your finger will automatically ease off the button if you are mixing too fast. It helps to control splatter.
The only thing I wish it had was a cap for the cup it comes with.
Overall, I’m very pleased with this blender.

Easy and convenient

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using this hand blender for a few months and have really liked it. The speed control is more of a trigger that you control depending on how hard you squeeze. It was much easier to use and control than other hand blenders where you have to turn to a different speed. I also liked how the attachments click into the control handle. Press the button and the attachment easily comes off. A few worries or complaints would be one, that a few pieces of plastic don’t seem very durable. I have used this for a few months without breaking so maybe it’s stronger than it seems. And the other is that I wish there was another chopping attachment to hold more food. All of the attachments work well and are easy to use. Overall I would recommend this hand blender and I have been using it over my previous one. I received this product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

Powerful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great high quality hand blender. The one touch speed control is my favorite feature and allows you to easily adjust the speed with the pressure of your finger. The various attachments make it a very versatile and essential tool in the kitchen. I’ve used it to make salsa, guacamole, chop onions and peppers in seconds, whip cream, make baby food, and much more. The motor is very powerful and you actually have to be pretty light on the button if you want a rough chop because it’ll mince food quickly. The chopper cup is on the small side and I often have to make things in batches, but it would be good for an apartment or a place with limited storage space. The only issue I had with the unit is the removable chopper blade is difficult to clean where it attaches to the cup. Otherwise it’s very easy to assemble and use out of the box and I highly recommend this hand blender. I received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

Easy, clean and compact

I’ve used other hand blenders in the past and they all had one thing in common...they all made a huge mess! I cautiously unboxed the Braun Hand Blander and thought well this already different. There are several different attachments and the blender has a sleek look. After several uses of each attachment I was hooked. No mess, no flipping avocados from floor to ceiling! It’s smooth and easy to use with just one hand. You can adjust the speed which is something most don’t offer. I find myself using this product at least once a day. Breakfast smoothies made in there own to go mug has been a game changer for our family, because I don’t have to use a huge blender everyone can customize what they want and leave just a knife and cutting board in the sink on our way out. They’ve made a believer out of the most anti-hand blender Mama in the kitchen and I will definitely be purchasing these as gifts for the friends and family that I love!

Blender for Family fun

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My two year old helps me in the kitchen with the hand blender. She can mix things we are actually going to eat or grind Cheerios for a baby friendly sand box. The Braun blender lets you squeeze the button with only one hand. My old hand blender requires holding the unlock button and the blend button simultaneously. This is an extra step that prevents me from multi tasking and makes it impossible for a child to use it to help out. My daughter helps me grind the beans for my coffee every morning. We also used it to blend pudding for my husband’s birthday cake. It caused a bit of splatter but was still easier to clean up than using my stand mixer. I was excited to use the whisk feature but I couldn’t figure out how to attach it to the device. I looked in the manual and figured it out. It wasn’t complicated but it wasn’t intuitive for me.
We used the small chopper attachment originally to grind coffee beans. After a few months of use, a small rubber part that connected with the motor fell apart. We now use the hand mixer attachment to grind the beans and it’s actually a little faster and easier to clean anyway. Absolute favorite feature is the one touch button. I can empty the coffee filter while grinding beans, or while supervising my daughter grinding them. I tried to make a smoothie using the hand blender and the ice was too strong. It took a long time and was just not worth it. If there is going to be anything harder than frozen fruit, it’s worth using the stand up blender. The hand blender is easier to clean than my stand up blender. You just pop the attachment off and throw it in the sink. The cord is the right length that it can reach around other appliances but doesn’t take up too much room. The ability to change speeds without using both hands makes it fun. It is easy to cook and experiment with adding more spices and increasing speed all while having a free hand for other tasks.

The first thing that I noticed is that it is super light weight when compared to other hand blenders that I have used. I have used it as a food processor for chopping vegetables, as an immersion blender for making baby food and soups, and as a quick single serve smoothie maker! The easy smartspeed button is very intuitive and easy to use. It was great to be able to change the speed of the blender by just pushing one button. It is very easy to switch between the different attachments. They click on and off with ease. This is by far the most sleek and easy to use hand blender that I have ever used.
