Perfect Coffee/Espresso

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] USE DISTILLED WATER IN NESPRESSO MACHINES. This will save you a tone of headaches. I do not have to clean the inside of my machine when i use distilled water. And if you do have to clean it, it will be much less frequent when compared to regular water.
First off let me say that I am a huge fan of Nespresso. I now have this machine and the original line machine with the built-in milk frother, and it is amazing, it is about to turn three years old. I am quite surprised that I like this machine with the Vertuo capsules. I had tried it before in a Nespresso store and did not like the flavor, this was many years ago. The new Vertuo plus now has the capacity to automatically pour many kinds of coffee without having to adjust the pour size yourself. While this is extremely helpful it also makes the Vertuo capsules proprietary, which I do not like. With that being said, I have never found a knock-off capsule in the original line that even comes close to the taste of a Nespresso capsule. Nespresso makes the best quick coffee hands down.
I honestly do not even know how to use this machine as it has done everything for me except put the water in. I like the option of single coffee, double espresso, and single espresso, it makes those three very well. This machine is very thin and is small. The best thing about it is the adjustable cup holder. You can pour a tiny cup or a 20oz thermos, by simply lifting it out of one slot and putting it in the one you want. Overall, I am very pleased with the machine. I do think the pod lock is a little hard to close, just a little.

Compact, convenient, great tasting pods

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using disposable cup coffee on and off for years. I like them because I have friends that only drink decaf, and being able to swap between the two without changing a coffee hopper is hugely convenient. It also gives me permission to indulge in and try vastly more bean types and flavors.
I tried a competitor brand and the coffee came out watery tasting. Not so for Nespresso. You get nice strong shots of coffee with this. I prefer to adjust my own milk and water amount.
I've been using this unit for over a month, and haven't had an of the issues the other reviews talk about. The unit turns on quickly, brews fast, automatically dispenses the previous unit, and was overall easy to use. All I have to do is adjust the height of the cup holder, and refill the water bin as needed. Lid opens smoothly and I like how compact the system is (my countertop is already cluttered enough!) One note - the Vertuo using "barcode technology" to figure out the right brew settings in terms of seeping time and water flow. Good for me as it's one less thing to think about, but worth noting if you like to adjust your settings. Overall, a happy addition to my kitchen.

They have so many different strengths and taste that you are bound to find one that you like. I like how it is super slim so it doesn’t take up much room on your counter top. Over love this product.

Disaster.

This device, in all honesty should've been recalled! I have owned my "first" unit since April 2020 and within that time frame there have been countless tech support phone calls/video calls, replacement parts, and as well as full machine replacements (May 2022). The error messages, the cleaning process, the fighter jet sounds it makes, the coffee missing the cup, and the time it takes to fix and troubleshoot is absurd. The tech support has been helpful, caring and friendly. But owning this machine- (Vertuo Next) has been a full time job. Please buy any other Vertuo machine. Any of them! Just not this one. I love my Nespresso (4 year owner), the brand and their impact to the environment- but please do not buy this... Even if you see it on a major discount. It's easier to take care of a child then this machine. Do your research before you buy. I understand there are "some" positive reviews, but take them with a minuscule grain of salt.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

DONT BOTHER

This machine has been the bane of my existence for almost a year. I wake up in the morning with this machine right next to a Keurig, as soon as this thing eats 3 or 4 capsules I just move onto a machine that actually works. This morning tho was over the top used at least 5 capsules beforw i finally got a cup and guess what the pour was like 5oz instead of the usual 7. Something tells me there is a class action suit in the making. STAY AWAY FROM THIS MACHINE.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I’ve been on the hunt for the best instant coffee pod machine out there and believe I just may have found the one. There are only really to take compare when talking about pod machines and those are the Keurig and Nespresso machines. When comparing these to the Nespresso machine just makes a richer more coffee tasting drink and allows you to create milk drinks and espresso drinks. Keurig makes a good cup of coffee but that’s the only thing it does and I feel it’s a little more water-based and less coffee taste in my opinion. Nespresso I feel extracts more of the flavor with its spinning techniques and multi hole punctured pods. Either one is good but the Nespresso models just taste better in my opinion. I got this new next model and I do have the older models as well and the differences are that it’s quieter and slicker looking. I love the virtual pods because it’s a no-brainer that you can just pop one in and it knows how to make it perfectly. I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase one of these if you’re in the market for a great tasting coffee.Nespresso Vertuo Next Coffee And Espresso Machine
