Such a fantastic machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This make the best cuppa joe. Easy to use and easy to clean does not take up much space and works so easily so glad to have it and allow guest to use it as well. I wish the pods were a bit cheaper. Overall verry happy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love the new Nespresso Vertuo next! We were looking for a simple to use, at home option to replace all of our coffee shop runs and this machine is exactly what we needed. The Vertuo Next provides 4 different options to make coffee: espresso, double espresso, coffee (5oz, 8oz), Carafe (18oz). If you’re looking for a strong and bold espresso shot, I highly recommend the double espresso pod, which also tastes great over ice. The machine comes with different color accents to the shiny black finish. We elected the rose gold accent, which paired well with our kitchen cabinets and appliances. The fact that it has a slim fit design it barely takes up any real estate on our countertops. This has truly become the most used appliance within our home.
Pros: Does not take up too much room on my countertop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am loving this machine that I got a little over a month ago. It has helped me to become my own barista at home and save money by making my own drinks. The machine was easy to set up out of the box. The directions were easy to follow and connecting to my phone with the app was a breeze. It has done a wonderful job making my espressos and other coffee drinks. It's easy to load and the pods are easy to remove as they fall into a space that can be taken out and dumped. I haven't seen anything to dislike about this machine as of yet.
Pros: Wide assortment of capsules to choose from, Easy to Use, High Quality Machine, Makes Delicious Espresso Drinks (Cappuccino, Latte etc.)

Difficult to close

I bought this about a month ago and am kind of regretting it. While I love the coffee and espresso it makes, I don't like the design. It is very difficult to open and close. It requires both hands simultaneously, and a moderate amount of strength, to close it. I also don't like that you can't run it with no pod inserted. That would be a useful feature for making a hot cup of water for tea. And finally, the resulting brew is not hot enough for my taste. I end up having to microwave it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Compact, convenient, great tasting pods

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using disposable cup coffee on and off for years. I like them because I have friends that only drink decaf, and being able to swap between the two without changing a coffee hopper is hugely convenient. It also gives me permission to indulge in and try vastly more bean types and flavors.
I tried a competitor brand and the coffee came out watery tasting. Not so for Nespresso. You get nice strong shots of coffee with this. I prefer to adjust my own milk and water amount.
I've been using this unit for over a month, and haven't had an of the issues the other reviews talk about. The unit turns on quickly, brews fast, automatically dispenses the previous unit, and was overall easy to use. All I have to do is adjust the height of the cup holder, and refill the water bin as needed. Lid opens smoothly and I like how compact the system is (my countertop is already cluttered enough!) One note - the Vertuo using "barcode technology" to figure out the right brew settings in terms of seeping time and water flow. Good for me as it's one less thing to think about, but worth noting if you like to adjust your settings. Overall, a happy addition to my kitchen.

Perfect Coffee/Espresso

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] USE DISTILLED WATER IN NESPRESSO MACHINES. This will save you a tone of headaches. I do not have to clean the inside of my machine when i use distilled water. And if you do have to clean it, it will be much less frequent when compared to regular water.
First off let me say that I am a huge fan of Nespresso. I now have this machine and the original line machine with the built-in milk frother, and it is amazing, it is about to turn three years old. I am quite surprised that I like this machine with the Vertuo capsules. I had tried it before in a Nespresso store and did not like the flavor, this was many years ago. The new Vertuo plus now has the capacity to automatically pour many kinds of coffee without having to adjust the pour size yourself. While this is extremely helpful it also makes the Vertuo capsules proprietary, which I do not like. With that being said, I have never found a knock-off capsule in the original line that even comes close to the taste of a Nespresso capsule. Nespresso makes the best quick coffee hands down.
I honestly do not even know how to use this machine as it has done everything for me except put the water in. I like the option of single coffee, double espresso, and single espresso, it makes those three very well. This machine is very thin and is small. The best thing about it is the adjustable cup holder. You can pour a tiny cup or a 20oz thermos, by simply lifting it out of one slot and putting it in the one you want. Overall, I am very pleased with the machine. I do think the pod lock is a little hard to close, just a little.
