[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my Nespreeso Vertuo Next machine. I love making cafe style espresso in the comfort of my own kitchen. The Machine is very easy to use. Locks and unlocks so you can put a pod in nicely. I especially like the fact that when you go to take the used pod out, it disposes of it in a compartment on the side of the machine. This way you do not burn yourself taking it out and it also helps keep the machine clean. Machine is also thin enough it doesn't take up much space. If you like expresso I would Definity recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Vertuo Next is awesome! The coolest aspect of this machine is how slick it looks in my kitchen. It’s a gorgeous matte black with chrome accents. The machine itself is of the highest quality and weighs quite a bit despite being only about the size of two cereal boxes. The high quality and durability of this machine are incomparable to any other coffee brewing machine I’ve ever used. It is slim, and it takes up very little room on my counter, but it’s just so awesome I wouldn’t even care if it took up my whole counter. You place one coffee pod in the top of the machine and lock it, then easily program what you want using your phone. I make espresso, strong coffee, light coffee, half a cup, a full cup, etc. The possibilities are endless with just one pod and a full water tank in the back. It self-cleans, which is yet another smart aspect of Vertuo Next. I have yet to make any effort to clean it other than wipe it off. This machine is made with 54 percent recycled plastic, and you get to order bags with prepaid labels to recycle all the coffee pods you use by sending them in. After a pod is used, the pod auto ejects into a side holder when you reopen the top to put another pod in. The flavors so far have been endless, delicious, satisfying, and indulgent. I am now officially spoiled when it comes to coffee, and I appreciate my Nespresso Vertuo Next more and more each day!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first Nespresso I have used so I am comparing it to a KCup machine and an espresso machine. I was excited to see those styles combined. The Vertuo Duo makes pretty good espresso. I’ve tried several of the variations in both single & double shot. It’s tasty and creates a nice frothy top. But for brewed coffee, it’s just ok. I’ve tried 4 different blends and none of them are remarkable. It doesn’t fill my daily brewed coffee needs and likely won’t get used daily.
It is however very lovely to look at and has a definite high end feel. It doesn’t take up much counter space which is awesome and it is easy to fill. I love that it removes the used pods for you and that you can easily dump the container when it’s full. You also download an app which links to your machine and gives you status updates. It is also how you order more pods.
I will order some more brewed coffee pods to see if I can find my perfect morning brew otherwise it will get used for mostly espresso on the weekends.
Pros: Has Delicious Crema, Does not take up too much room on my countertop, Appealing Design
Cons: Does not make enough coffee in a cup, Does not have a built-in milk frother, Water tank is too small, Does not make coffee hot enough

Perfectly sized

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our house we bought less than a year ago has very limited counter and storage space. This means we have to make calculated decisions on what small appliances we have on our counters. My wife and I are big coffee drinkers and we like “barista style” drinks. I like that Nespresso allows us to create simple or more intricate drinks based on our preferences. We can do single serve or carafe sized for multi serve purposes. Perfectly hot and like the variety of flavors the pods come in. Easy to use though the app set up hasn’t been the easiest but we’re not too worried about that. The machine knows exactly what size cup you need depending on which sized pod you place in. The convenient pod disposal is great too and easy to empty. We also wish the pods were more easily accessible as there are only a few options of places to purchase. The size fits perfectly in our counter and tucks in perfectly taking a little amount of room. We’re very happy with this and much prefer this clean easy coffee maker over traditional coffee pots.

Not a reliable machine

My first machine lasted 3 months before they had me return it, I’ve had my current one for about 14 months, orange lights started blinking, customer service went through steps for almost an hour, it brewed 1 cup of coffee, then orange lights again , have to do clean cycle every time I want a cup of coffee. It is also leaking water, not coffee underneath. Very frustrating because I love this coffee. I had just ordered a lot of pods too. Bummed. I would not recommend the NEXT. Spend the money for a better machine . They need to discontinue this model .

Not a reliable machine

We bought this machine originally about 14 months ago. After about a month of use, it stopped working (orange light flashing, wouldn't brew). We called Nespresso and after listening to the machine over the phone - they sent us a new one. Now, a year later - it's started doing the same thing. It will make the sound like it's starting to brew... and then the flashing orange light. We have a stack of q-tips next to the machine and use them to clean out the reader... clean the top of the machine... sometimes that works, sometimes it doesn't. Very frustrating. I agree with some of the other reviews - they should discontinue this machine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The water compartment is also the perfect size. It Makes amazing espresso and coffee. I would highly recommend you get this.
