Nespresso service outweighs machine issues

This is my 2 Nespresso machine. The first became noisy but worked till I replaced it. This model looks great but has had a few brewing issues over time. The first was resolved by customer care over the phone but a a few months later it stopped brewing. It would clean using the triple click but not brew. Late on a Sunday night a customer care rep went through the diagnostics with me and simply said “ I’ll send you another machine. Retrun this after receiving new one. Which would you like……” had new machine in a week and was sent a sleeve of my choice of coffee for my trouble. This company is super. A coffee maker is an inexpensive machine. The company is super.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We loved our Nespresso Virtuo BUT

But it died after 3 years and we were excited to try the Virtuo next. It seems to work OK, BUT the coffee comes out Luke warm. We have only had it a few days but if we can't fix this we will take it back. How do we get the coffee to be piping hot?

Nespresso machines are designed to brew each blend to the specific programmed temperature that is best suited to that blend, as defined by Nespresso Coffee Experts. Quality is important to us, so the coffee brews to its ideal temperature without burning. Please bear in mind that added cold milk and sweeteners can decrease the temperature of the drink. We have some tips to help prepare a hotter beverage to increase your overall enjoyment:
• Use hot water to preheat the cup to keep the coffee hotter longer.
• Make sure the size of cup you are using matches the size of the blend. A small espresso poured into a large mug, for example, will cool down very quickly.
• Clean the brew unit by running the Clean Cycle at least once a week. This also helps eliminate coffee grounds build up within the brew unit.
• Descale the machine. Scale build-up can interfere with proper heating and can also affect the taste and brew time of the coffee. We recommend descaling your machine every three months or 300 capsules, whichever comes first.

Decent coffee, unreliable machine

Avoid the Next, stick with regular Virtuo machine. It leaks from the top, and there's grounds in my cup which I've never experienced with a Nespresso machine before.

too unreliable to be of value

This machine has only lasted a few months for me before failing. Sounds like a broken piece in the head as it spins.

DO NOT GET THIS MACHINE!

I am on my 3rd machine in less than 10 months and now have to send this one in to be repaired. Disappointed in this model is an understatement. Their customer service is great but they should have put equal effort into R&D before releasing this model. Don't waste your time or money on the Next!

Not the best machine…buy the Vertuo not the Next

It makes excellent coffee but… it is difficult to close and brew. I found myself always slamming it. It was a chore to make coffee. You can’t really clean it so the coffee grounds build up (from trying to close it several time each time you want to make coffee). Eventually it broke. Nespresso did replace it but I opted for a different machine. So glad I did!! Got the Vertuo machine and it is night and day. 1000x better.

For best maintenance for your Vertuo, we recommend to always eject the used capsule after every use, run the Clean Cycle once a week to eliminate coffee grounds build up within the brew unit, and descale your machine every three months. All removable spare parts, including the water tank, should be washed by hand at least once a week.

Had for 3 months and water tank is breaking

Really loved this machine, but after three months use- the water tank is breaking into pieces and system is having difficulty pulling the water from the tank. CS was nice but no replacement part available. I would preferred a replacement machine all together, but not offered.

The machine worked great for the first month; after that, it went downhill. The device was releasing cold water. After that, the machine will finish the entire water tank without stopping.
