Used it for three weeks, then it stopped brewing

I got this as a Christmas gift and got it all set up as soon as I could. It worked great for the first week, then it would take a little bit to actually start brewing (I would have to open and close the top a few times to finally get it to brew). Now it just lights up as if it’s ready, I push the button and then nothing happens. This apparently is not an uncommon occurrence with the vertuo next if you look online. Google “Vertuo next won’t brew” and you can read all the other posts from people experiencing the same thing. Really disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Breaks every couple months

The machine design is downright poor. I’ve replaced mine multiple times and have no hope that I won’t have to replace it again in the near future. Unfortunately I think it’s the best looking machine; it functions better as a decorative object than a coffee machine.

Issues since purchase

I have had issues with our Nespresso Vertuo Next since we purchased in August 2020. The issues have continually gotten worse and can only get one brew before having to unplug to reset machine. I would not recommend this product sadly because I do love the coffee it brews when it works.

We recommend running a priming cycle through your machine once a week to assist with keeping the taste, texture, body and aroma in each brew. We also recommend descaling your machine every three months or 300 capsules, whichever comes first. I went through two of these in two months and gave up and completely switched machines. Nespresso was very kind, but I do not recommend this machine. It would glitch, pour water everywhere, stop brewing, etc.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY

I bought my Vertuo next in November and is was amazing for the first couple of months until I got a blinking orange light and the machine refused to work. Nespresso was amazing and sent me a replacement machine that worked for all of two coffees before never turning on again. Get a different version this one is TRASH

I am very disappointed. It makes great coffee but i was surprised that it stopped working. This machine is not inexpensive and i expected more.

I bought this a few months ago and I wish I would’ve returned it. Closing it is really difficult. This never happened with any of the other machines I have had. Sometimes the water doesn’t go through but ends up in the capsule dispenser. A huge hot mess. I am so disappointed because normally Nespresso makes a great machine but not this time!!! Don’t buy the machine try another one.

Love it!

I bought my Vertuo Next about 3 weeks ago and it has been working FLAWLESS!! I love this machine, it can a bit loud but it’s only for a few seconds. I love the different flavors they offer, also the milk frother is to notch.
I would recommend this to a friend!
