Leaks Water

Machine leaking water everywhere. A visit to google shows the Vertuo Next is leaking for dozens of owners.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

However, we are thrilled to learn you were able to speak to a Machine Expert, and you will be receiving a replacement Evoluo Machine. We recommend running a priming cycle through your machine once a week your machine to assist with keeping the taste, texture, body and aroma in each brew. We also recommend descaling your machine every three months or 300 capsules, whichever comes first. Can't wait to get up & start my day with this

Not only is the machine beautiful to look at but the coffee is A M A Z I N G. This is my second unit. I have had the CitiZ for about 5-years (our whole family has them) and loved that model but I bought my son a Vertuo Next for Christmas a year ago and the coffee flavor and crema is off the hook. Rich creamy flavor as good or better than anything you would get out. I like super strong coffee so use the double-shot pods. I am up in Lake Tahoe visiting a friend and literally had to bring it with me. Now he wants one hahaha. I did have a little issue with this unit at first but called customer service and they were every bit as awesome as their products.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Noisy

This is my third machine. I bought this version only because I thought it could be set for morning coffee. It cannot. The Bluetooth rarely works. The orange light blinks constantly and there are always grounds in my cup. It’s also extremely loud, and the water reservoir is small so must be filled constantly. The dreaded blinking orange light goes off after three cups. Annoying!! The large coffee was discontinued on my old unit, Delonghi, which I loved . Overall disappointed with this unit.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Do Not BUY

Be far warned, you will have trouble with this one sooner or later. Purchased during a sale from Nespresso on their website. I should have listened to the reviews. It literally worked about 4 times. Had to call Nespresso and ship it back to their repair center. The note attached on the return back to me suggested that I descale the machine. Ridiculous on a brand new machine.

While Nespresso does recommend descaling your machine every three months to prevent build up, your Vertuo Next required a system update at our warehouse. Future updates can be made via the Nespresso app through your Bluetooth settings. These updates will prevent future early-descaling warnings from occurring.

Excellent Machine

I have had the Vertuo Next machine for a few months now and am extremely satisfied with the quality of the coffee it brews. I have not experienced any issues and have brewed about 100 coffees of all different sizes. The versatility of sizes you can brew is a huge plus and it also brews a very nice crema. The setup was simple and I only use spring water in my machine. I feel like my Vertuo has spoiled me and I don’t really go to coffee shops any more because I’m too excited to try out a new recipes myself. Although some users have negative experiences, I have had a very positive experience with my machine so far! Oh and I should mention the pods ship fast and the customer service is great!
I would recommend this to a friend!

DON'T BUY THIS MODEL!

Made the mistake of buying this machine without reading any reviews. Our machine last all of three weeks. It first started making expresso rather than a cup of coffee. A factory reset cured that but the next day the machine stopped working. Could not rinse it, could do a factory reset. We chewed through quite a few pods hoping it would work. Will be returning and buying another model...after reading the new model's reviews.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Coffee tastes amazing, perfect temperature! Love the coffee selection. But I swear it’s so confusing and it’s constantly breaking down on me.

Terrible quality!

While I LOVE the coffee and think it’s coffee shop quality, this machine is garbage. My first one stopped working days after purchasing, customer service was amazing and sent me a replacement. Now 6 months later, that one broke as well! Customer service again was super helpful and they are now sending me the Verturo Plus. Hoping for better luck with that machine because I do like the quality of the coffee.

For best maintenance for your VertuoPlus, we recommend to always eject the used capsule after every use, run the Clean Cycle once a week to eliminate coffee grounds build up within the brew unit, and descale your machine every three months. All removable spare parts, including the water tank, should be washed by hand at least once a week.
