Not worth the money

My husband bought me this for my birthday last year and after reading lots of reviews on it recently cause I was experiencing my machine leaking lots of water suddenly, I really wish he would’ve gotten me a different machine. I’ve barely used mine, it has sat for over 4 months because I was really overwhelmed trying to find the “the one” coffee flavor to enjoy daily. I finally found the flavors I like but the water leakage is extremely annoying as it leaves a giant puddle and my biggest gripe is it does not get hot enough. As a former barista, this machine is kind of disappointing. I wanted to love it but I see now it’s full of issues.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great coffee...terrible machine

Makes one cup and dies

Must be some sort of programming issue but it will make only one cup and dies. The next day it sometimes works, sometimes does not -- orange lights flashing.

This machine is crap

I wish I had heeded the many negative reviews on this machine. This is the third Nespresso machine I have bought and it is terrible, abysmal, a complete waste of money. If I had bought this machine first, I would never have thrown it out and never looked at Nespresso again.
It frequently dies in the middle of making coffee; I have wasted many pricey nespresso capsules because of this. It makes very little crema compared to other models. Finally, the taste of the coffee it produces is off compared to the older models. If you are wondering which machine to buy, AVOID this one. I love Nespresso coffee, I loved my old machines, so please don't take this as a criticism of the company. Just avoid this dud of a machine.

terrible machine

Although the customer service is great, this particular machine is awful. I received my original machine in early July. I am now on the third replacement machine and it stopped working today, as well. Apparently this is a horrible machine and other Nespresso options are better.

Terrible

This machine connectivity sucks, can’t keep it paired. As I try to hit the button nothing happens, ones I open to see after about 30 seconds I get blasted with hot water.

Mostly Enjoy the machine

I have had the Vertuo Next for almost a year and I really enjoy it, especially the pour over coffee. I use it daily.
The only issue I have had with it was running the descaling process. It is overly complicated and I had have someone from customer service walk me through because the directions don't make sense.
Reading all the negative reviews and knowing how much trouble the descaling process gave me, I think Nespresso could save themselves a lot of bad reviews by simplifying that process. Otherwise it is a great machine I love the variety of coffees I can make.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Never going to a coffee shop again!

I love my Vertuo Next machine, it's my first Nespresso machine after upgrading from Keurig and I don't know how I survived before. The coffee is amazing, the machine takes up minimal space on my counter. No issues with my machine after a few months, crossing my fingers it stays this way!
I would recommend this to a friend!
