Wanted it to work so bad

I got this as a Christmas gift last year. It was working great until about three month in, it started leaking from the bottom and top. Water was pooling under the machine, so I descaled it hoping that would fix it. It did not fix it, so Nespresso sent me a "new" (refurbished) machine to replace mine. I used the "new" machine for about a month or two and the same thing started happening. I have been buying filtered water to use in the machine, since I have hard water out of my faucet. I love the coffee, but I am frustrated that I haven't even got to use my Nespresso for a year without having problems. Maybe it's this specific model that leaks? My best friend has the Vertuo Plus and she has never had any of these problems. She has had hers for about 4 years.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Use this at my friends house and now I am hooked. The coffee was amazing. Literally went home and ordered myself my own. If you order a lot of coffee this will save you money in the long run. So I highly recommend.

I absolutely love my Nespresso Vertuo! I got it as a gift this past Christmas and it the best thing since sliced bread. So many pod flavors to choose from. The milk frother is a great addition too. I would recommend this to every coffee lover!

Lots of Issues

I’ve had this for about a year now. It was a great machine in the beginning. First it started leaking. Then it would reset its own cup sizes and after talking to customer service, they showed me how to factory reset it which I have done multiple times. Now, the machine just won’t brew anymore. I wanted to love it so bad but I can’t keep up with it. It’s always broken.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Leakage issues

I bought the first Vertuo Next at the end of November 2021. It worked great initially and makes great coffee and espresso (thus the one star). Then it started to leak. First a little bit, then it got worse. Contacted Nespresso and after trouble shooting, they send out a replacement. Received the replacement at the end of December. The bluetooth functionality wasn't working right and it wouldn't detect the machine or accept the WiFi password, but at least it brewed coffee ... until after about a week or so we noticed the replacement also was leaking and the water was pooling underneath the machine. I am still waiting on my second replacement, which they are sending me the Evoluo model. Here's hoping that this one will work as advertised. While the coffee and espresso are really good, the rest of the Nespresso experience has been a disaster so far ...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Electrical defects

This is my second Next that I am returning due to electrical defects. Not sure what’s going on with the quality but giving Nespresso one more chance with the Evoluo they are sending me as a replacement.
