[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had my new Nespresso vertuo next for a few weeks now and I love it so much. Setup was a breeze and it’s very user friendly, just open place a pod and press the button for a perfect cup of coffee everytime. The machine can detects how much to brew on its own and no need for me to change settings. The black with rose gold accents looks so amazing and high end in my kitchen and the slim design allows it to take up minimal counter space. It also included a variety pack of different espressos so you can try different roast to find your favorite

Simple to use machine, that makes great espresso

Initial set-up takes around 15 minutes. The set-up time includes the time it takes to put the machine together, and run an initial system cleaning and prep for use.
App:
There's a companion app that can be used with the machine, but it's not necessary for use. I have it downloaded, and it's essentially a registration/order/machine issue diagnostics app. It's easy to use, and fairly useful.
Pod/Capsule sizes:
This machine will take any of the larger pods/capsules. The smallest size essentially makes a single espresso shot, while the largest size makes a small cup of espresso strength coffee.
Brew times:
(From machine turn on to finished espresso)
Single - 90 seconds
Double - 100 seconds
Triple - 110 seconds
Quad - 120 seconds
Full cup - 155 seconds
Auto measuring:
You don't need to select the sizing on this machine. Rather, it auto senses the size you're using when you put it in the machine.
Disposal area:
In the middle of the machine is a disposal area for used pods/capsules. It can handle around 20 or so at a time, depending on the sizes you're using. When you're ready to permanently dispose, simply slide the compartment out to the left.
Operation noise:
This machine is fairly loud, but it doesn't bother me.
Espresso quality:
This machine produces very good quality espresso. Is it as good as a manual espresso machine? In my opinion, no. However, the taste quality is still very high, and this is much faster to use than a traditional espresso machine. (I have both, and I tend you use this more often).
Bottom line:
This machine is incredibly simple to use, fast, and produces great tasting espresso.

High hopes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think this machine is good for what it does but I was hoping for more. The directions included in the package are pretty much useless but looking it up online wasn’t hard. I’ve held off getting a pod-style coffee maker because I haven’t wanted the waste that goes along with them. This one requires the machine to read the barcode on the packaging so it makes it hard to use a reusable pod. I’ve tried to find info about how to do this but nothing seems easy about that part.
Aside from the pods, I’m finding it difficult to get a full cup of coffee or espresso. I believe it can be done but will need to do some more research because it’s not as simple as I thought it would be.
I’m going to see if we can come to an acceptable compromise because I do want to like this machine and worry that this may mean none of the home espresso machines would work for what I want.

Amazing and Quick

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a coffee snob, and have been a hater on any of the "pod" type machines. However, the quality of the espresso that comes from this machine is excellent. The process is so simple and easy to use and helps to reduce the time of my morning routine without sacrificing the quality. The design is compact and sleek and doesn't take up a ton of room - which I love! Overall, I really recommend this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this machine! I'm still learning, but have already made 2 latte's and they were both as good as the local coffee shop. It is easy to use, and I love the handy recycling bin when you open the lid. This set does not come with the milk frother, but not a big deal. Easy enough to pick one up.

Good but not great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a good machine, the only issues I had was that the pods that you buy for it are kind of expensive. The pods are difficult to find and when you find them usually stores don't have a good selection, it's usually limited. This also needs a milk frother, you would have to buy a separate frother to make lattes and other drinks. Also you have to buy the pods there's no way you can buy your own coffee and make a fresh cup.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am extremely impressed with the durability, design and quality of this Nespresso machine. I am so excited to have finally found an easy to use espresso and coffee machine. I love how easy this machine is to operate by no second guessing; literally just have to put a pod into the machine lock it and press the button and the machine does the rest. It deciphers the size of the pod and creates the perfect cup of coffee or a single or double shot of espresso based on the pod. I really like how much smaller this machine is than others and doesn’t take up much counter space. I also like that it has an app that was super easy to set up with the step by step instruction. Within the app I am able to reorder pods or if there is an issue with the machine while brewing it alert me the machine needs attention. When you open the lid to put a new pod in the old pod slide down to the back and is stored into the machine until you remove them. This feature is really nice but the one thing I am not a fan of because the door to remove the pods is small for my hands, I am only able to put a couple fingers in. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who loves a single cup of coffee or who loves to make coffee with espresso as you will not be disappointed in this one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an amazing coffee maker. I like being able to offer guests coffee from my Nespresso. Most people are mesmerized by it once they see it start working. It’s nice to be able to just put a capsule in and have the machine know, by the bay code on underside, which size cup (or carafe) to make. Very easy to use, and doesn’t take up a lot of room on thr counter. Rich and creamy and delicious.
