[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all the Red color of this machine is beautiful. The machine itself is very slim and I was able to just tuck it away very easily. I actually had guests when I received it so I used the carafe and it was so chic. My guests loved the presentation. I have tasted Nespresso coffee in the past and they are so smooth. I stopped drinking it for a while but drinking this coffee now, reminded me how delicious it is. I love it and would recommend it to anyone who loves coffee. I also love the fact that the machine is made of 54% recycled materials. That’s really important for me to help the environment.

Started Great - Didn't End Well

I ordered this machine about a year ago and loved it. Recently, I went to the machine for a cup of coffee minutes before a 90-minute meeting and...nothing! I tried several times and the coffee would not brew. It stopped working, without any warning signs and I was very disappointed. One good thing is that Nespresso has excellent customer service, and when the trouble shooting didn't work, I was offered a free replacement. I ordered a different Vertuo machine due to negative reviews of the Vertuo Next' am in love with my Nespresso coffee again!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

However, we are thrilled to learn you were able to speak to a Machine Expert, and you received a replacement Vertuo Machine. We recommend running a priming cycle through your machine once a week to assist with keeping the taste, texture, body and aroma in each brew. We also recommend descaling your machine every three months or 300 capsules, whichever comes first. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] wow! this thing is amazing! i have always wanted to try the nespresso and not i have! let me just say that nothing compares to it. i have always only had keurigs and the tatse of the nespresso is pure greatness! after figuout how to use it i thoroughly enjoyed my first cup and then another! highly recommend! if you are in the fence of getting one definitely do it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good! They make the coffee so smooth! I use the pod and place it under the applicator and waited around 5 minutes and I end up getting a hot espresso coffee PS. The PODS are so good! I like the one with cappuccino the best!

Getting the machine started

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Getting the machine started took me about 30 minutes. I really couldn't figure it out. Once I figured out how to clean it out first it started working perfectly. I've only tried the espresso so far and mixed it with sweetend condensed milk to make a Vietnamese coffee and it was delicious. I love that the packaging was made from recycled materials and they offer places for you to drop your canisters off to so they can be recycled. The nespresso site offers some really good recipes for different coffee drinks. The downfall is that you can not purchase more canisters just anywhere and they are a bit on the pricy side. Overall if you love coffee you will love this machine and their products!

Fast, no mess and great coffee

I am enjoying my new Nespresso. It is brews a great cup of coffee fast and no mess. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is the cost of the pods. Also I wish there were more 5.5 cup options and more decaf choices. Overall it is a great little coffee maker and will get much use.
I have used an espresso machine for years and I love my espresso and lattes. However it takes up a lot of space, needs much effort, tending and cleaning.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Terrible model

I purchased this as a gift for my mother. I feel awful and embarrassed giving this as a gift. The machine leaked water all over the counter at random times when in operation. The machine turns on randomly and started pouring water as if it were making a cup of coffee when no one actually was using it. Now the machine has completely stopped working. This is only a year old. So much for buying the best model for someone I care about. This machine was not over used as my mom lives by herself. I understand there may be some random/minor problems but this was a complete disaster. I would strongly advise anyone to not purchase this for their self or anyone. You’re suppose to enjoy the coffee, not have it stress you out.

Awful Experience

I received this as a gift for Christmas. This was my first machine from Nespresso. After 16 days, it stopped working completely. I contacted support several times to troubleshoot but this time, nothing worked. I am very upset about this since it made the best coffee ever for its first few days.
