The Nespresso Vertuo Plus

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Nespresso Vertuo Plus coffee maker is my ideal coffee machine. This review is basically a love letter. To start, the Nespresso is aesthetically pleasing. It’s sleek, but nicely rounded and doesn’t have too large of a footprint on the countertop. It’s one of the few appliances that I enjoy leaving out on full display. I am not much of a morning person, but my sleepy walk towards my Nespresso is something I now look forward to. I love being able to select from a variety of pods depending on my mood and caffeine needs. From my morning black coffee to a mid-morning latte to an afternoon espresso pick-me-up, Nespresso covers all the bases with beautifully roasted, rich, dark coffee with a lovely crema. The different notes and flavors in each of the varietals keeps things tasty and interesting and in my opinion far surpass the taste of big coffee shop blends. With Nespresso’s sustainable farming practices and their recyclable pods, it takes away my guilt over single-use pods and has made me a Nespresso devotee.

Stay Away from the Vertuo Next

I originally had a Nespresso machine that lasted 5 years before the motor got so loud it was time to throw it away and purchase a new one because I love the quality of coffee these machines brew. I purchased the Vertuo Next because I was excited about having the option to brew a carafe. My first one lasted 6 months before it just completely stopped working. I pressed the button and it would turn orange indicating a malfunction, and it would occasionally leak. Customer service did a troubleshoot and we got it to work for another couple of days before it malfunctioned again. They promptly sent me a new one which only lasted 7 months. Again, I called customer service and we got it to work for 1 day before it malfunctioned again. Customer service has decided to send me a different machine, the Vertuo Plus. Hopefully this machine will not give me any problems and maybe they will work out the kinks on the Next someday.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Worst machine ever

Do not buy this machine, I have had nothing but problems with it and they even sent me a replacement one so I am now on the second machine and it refuses to brew more than one cup of coffee, I had called customer service multiple times and they can always get it to work and then the next day same thing.. refuses to brew coffee and won’t even run a clean cycle but they never have an explanation for me and I shouldn’t have to do a factory reset everyday just to get my machine to work!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Sadness!

I got this as a Christmas present this year, the coffee is really good. I went ahead and bought alot of the pods ($$$). I haven't even used my Nespresso Vertuo month and the machine has started leaking out the side. My kids lost the receipt now they feel bad and I'm out a couple hundred for pods. I read a lot of reviews regarding them leaking and with them being so popular I thought they would have fixed the issue. As of January 25, 2022 the problem still exist. I wish I would have been more cautious.

Love this machine. I can make espresso drinks like the Nespresso is marketed towards, but I can also make a regular coffee when I am in the mood for that. I have one of the hand held milk frothers from before I got this, and the milk frother from Nespresso is way better! I say a few bad reviews on this machine, but then good ones as well, so I gave it a go and I have not had a bad experience!

I simply love Nespresso!

I simply love Nespresso! It’s so convenient and easy to use. I get up in the morning, put a capsule in the machine and I have a cup of super fresh coffee with perfect crema. Every cup is so fresh and fragrant. I love all of their different roasts, so you can pick and choose whichever you like. I like different roasts, decaffeinated in the afternoons and sometimes flavored like vanilla. I never have to buy many different bags of coffee and each get stale over time. It’s also perfect for entertaining guests. The machine is very easy to use and maintain. It has never made any for me and I’ve been using it for years. Nespresso offers a descaling liquid which I use on a quarterly badis. I highly recommend!

I love the cherry

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the cherry red Nespresso Vertuo Next I received for free from Influenster and Nespresso in exchange for my honest review. I like that it is made in part using recycled materials. The slim design fits nicely in my kitchen without using too much of my counter space. This coffee maker lets you make a verity of coffee and espresso in different sizes and flavors. I like that the machine automatically discards the used pods into a a self contained bin. Nespresso encourages you to send in the used pods for discounts and promotional items. The only negative with the Nespresso is the price for the coffee. While it is FANTASTIC coffee it’s also pricey. I love the organic Mexico coffee and the Blanco Leggero espresso the best, so I will be purchasing pods regardless of the additional cost.
