Love the coffee maker but broke in one year

I love this coffee maker. One of my favorite things to see in a hotel room is a Nespresso machine. The coffee smells, foams and tastes just like European coffee. For some reason, it just stopped working. I descaled and followed all prompts on my app to troubleshoot. App continues to say that the make is not latched closed after I move the latch to closed. Sad to only have use for 14 months.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Never got it to work

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had an espresso maker before and I realize they can be alittle more confusing for the inexperienced. But this machine took confusing to a whole new level. The instructions were not helpful to me whatsoever and I found the app to be more for purchasing things. At the end, I never got it to work and I'm done fooling with it.

Thank you for your review. We understand how frustrating machine issues can be, and we certainly want your Nespresso experience to be special and exactly to your satisfaction. Please allow us to provide some user tips that may help. When turning on your machine, allow your machine to warm up. The light will begin to pulse slowly for about 30 seconds, indicating the “warm-up” phase. Once the light is steady the machine is ready for use. Insert your Nespresso capsule, and ensure the lever is fully locked. The lever must go past the lock symbol and there should be a slight click sound when fully locked.
For best maintenance for your Vertuo Next, we recommend to always eject the used capsule after every use, run the Clean Cycle once a week to eliminate coffee grounds build up within the brew unit, and descale your machine every three months. All removable spare parts, including the water tank, should be washed by hand at least once a week.

Surprisingly great!

Best Machine Ever

It is truly such a different experience than Keurig the quality can we tasted and I wouldn’t go back the way I came. I would recommend any type of Nespresso machine and pod to any coffee enthusiast who’s serious about this drink.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am absolutely in love with my Vertuo Next was extremely easy to set up and makes amazing delicious coffee without the trip to the barista. It's like bringing the barista home to your kitchen. I highly recommend this product
