beep alarm is ear-piercingly loud

This is update to previous review. I measured the sound level and the beeper is 94.6dB. That is power mower, smoke alarm level. Unnecessarily loud for a toaster oven. Get the Pro version instead where you can apparently adjust the volume because you cannot in this model. Every time you plug it is your ears will be assaulted by the extremely loud beeping.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Paint has bubbled

The device works great but we just noticed the paint on the door trim has bubbled (we have the black color). We purchased this device end of December 2021 and it seems like numerous products made during pandemic have quality issues as we had issues with our Barista touch coating..
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Sea Salt Smart Oven Air Fryer

I had really loved this air fryer up until a few weeks ago. I bought it 2 years ago in Sea Salt. It is so beautiful on the counter and works perfectly for my needs. But then over time, the white color started to yellow at the top of the door. Then that same area started to form little bubbles. Then finally a few weeks ago, the paint in that area start to chip and is now peeling off. It is really beautiful in all the different colors but not worth the price tag for this quality. Maybe just stick with the stainless steel option

whenever used smoke and humidity out from the door to the monitor in the upper light side. i'm using three times.is this normal?

Yes, condensation and steam, from the Smart Oven Air Fryer, depending on what is being cooked and the function being used, can be seen coming from around the door near the control panel.
Great oven. Especially for two people. There is a learning process for me. Adjusting temperature and time compared to our main gas oven.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It's a good oven and air fryer BUT cleaning is a nightmare and tons of smoking

I've had this unit for about a year and a half now. It's a pretty unit however using it is very different than how it looks. Outside of simple functions like toasting some bread it is not very good at keeping substances within the unit. Whenever I airfry something that may be a bit juicy it would splatter everywhere and the smoke would start bringing the oils out. I have actually banished this unit from inside my house to be used out in the mudroom by the window with a vent. Even that sometimes is not enough. Any grease or juices is near impossible to clean out. It will be oozing stuff from all it's crevices permanently. The door seal doesn't work very well at all either. There is burning discoloration to the left of the display between the door and screen. There's burning on discoloration on the lower corner of the door too.
Aside from smoking out your house and it leaking the steam/oil fluids all over the place. It cooks very well! That's why I kept the unit and compromised by banishing it nearly out of the house. I do dread having to clean the dang thing since it's so difficult to do so but boy does it make tasty air fried food.

Timer does not pause when turning over food, checking for fineness or adding ingredients

I bought this product on Oct 24, 2022 and used air fryer next day. I noticed that the timer does not pause when you are turning over food, checking for Dinesen’s or adding ingredients to. I have had the timer run out of time and had to restart the air fryer again which it had to go through the preheat cycle again while my food is sitting there to continue cooking. I find this very annoying. Is there something I’m missing to pause the timer? I had to add more time to tend the food then remember to set timer back again. Any suggestions? Maybe I will just use my portable air fryer which timer pauses when you open the door and restarts when you close it. Frustrated
