Ecstatic about the ability of this unit to toast, cook, air fry and a multitude of other abilities left to your imagination. Its small size makes it counter friendly as it is not much larger than a toaster oven. It is an economical way of cooking a family meal.

This oven performs very well, but it has a huge drawback if you like your appliances to look clean. I use it every day for toasting, air frying, and baking. I wash the removable tray daily in soapy water. But after a week, the tray was permanently stained. The mess made from air frying makes me think twice before using the air fryer mesh tray, which allows oils to drip on the tray. These oils leave a brown residue that is permanent. If Breville could build the tray to be cleanable and new looking this oven would be perfect.

This is my second Breville. After using my first one for 10+ years, I decided I wanted a new one with the air fry feature. I don't like having much sitting on my kitchen counters. Purchasing an air fryer would take up counter or storage space which didn't appeal to me. This new model not only has the air fryer feature but also an interior light. It's so attractive, I actually enjoy having it on my kitchen counter. Love it!

We bought the new unit to replace a smaller twelve year old Breville, and as soon as I finished the preparation procedure, I tossed some two day old fries into the air fryer basket. They came out as fresh and tasty as when we bought them at the
restaurant. Bread, bagels, and croissants emerge perfectly toasted, though I have learned to use lower heat settings than in the old unit.

waited a long time for the holiday sale, did not want the big pro model, this one is plenty huge, and the amazon 4 slice toaster was nice, but I was tired of heating the big oven. Solid machine, only complaint is the handle attachment is not smooth, they could have engineered a better mechanism. It's got a rough tab on both sides that feels like pancake batter cruft.

this unit is nice looking and easy to use. My only complaint is that it gets extremely hot on the exterior walls. I cannot place my hand on the outside and I feel if a plastic item was nearby, it would melt. Not good.

Thank you for your review and feedback. That is true. The oven will get extremely hot. We do note this within the manual many times. As with any oven, you will want to use caution and not allow anything flammable or anything that can melt or burn near the oven when in use.
