This is my second Breville oven. I had my first Breville oven for roughly 15 years. My wife and I used it more often than our wall oven. As most of our meals are just for two it made no sense to heat up the whole kitchen with a large oven for most of our meals. Our original oven was working just fine but we felt that it was time for a change. We donated the old oven to a needy family and we purchased a new Breville because I wanted the “air-fry”, option. I also liked many of the other new features in your latest version, like the oven light, roast and slow cook settings.
I love cooking and I have cooked for my family my whole life. Our Breville oven is the best small (toaster) oven I have ever used. I have not hesitated to recommend Breville to all the other home cooks I know. I am having fun experimenting with the new features on my new Breville oven. I know there will be good eats around my kitchen table for a long time to come.

It is very hard to clean and air fryer makes a mess. The shields that cover the elements should be removable so they can be cleaned.
However it is prefect for most dishes for two I can cook in a Pyrex dish!

Large Enough to have the Kitchen Oven as an Auxiliary

My wife uses this every day, and bakes cakes and bread. It is also used for reheating food that needs to be crispy, so it has replaced the microwave for a lot of food items. As a toaster it is slower that a regular toaster or a toaster oven.
Would have given it a Five, but for the last couple of days there is frequently a whirring-grating sound from the fan.
Need to contact Breville.

Perfect! Except for the electronic buzzing sound

The oven works perfectly, this is a huge upgrade from my previous cheap toaster.
My only complaint is the electronic buzzing sound coming from the LED display, it's a very high pitched electronic sound. When the LED display turns off, the buzzing is quiet, when the LED display is on, the buzzing is loud. I know that this is a circuit error because when I turn on the internal cook light, the buzzing sound disappears even though the LED display stays on!!
I actually complained about this to customer service so they sent me a replacement, and guess what, the new unit has the same exact buzzing sound.....I don't know if it's worth the hassle of getting a third unit because I suspect all their units have the same exact issue.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is an awesome oven. We use it quite often. Love the airfry setting for frying items with very little oil (light spraying). We have also used the airfry setting and basket for cooking a spatchcock chicken. A lot faster than heating up the big oven. There are other things we haven't tried with the oven yet, but will get there. We did run into a minor issue with the oven. Reached out to Breville customer service and they were fantastic!! They stand behind their products (because of past experience we did not hesitate to upgrade from an older Breville oven to the newer Air Fryer and it is great to see that their customer service is still outstanding).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This air fryer is amazing. It is big enough to cook everything I need for my large family at once. It is a modern design and made durable and classic looking. It doesnt take up to much space on my counter top. It has numerous different cooking options such as for pizza and numerous extras you can buy for it like pizza pans and utensils. I love how quick it cooks and that it heats to 480 degrees. I highly recommend this product.

Love the oven; wish it were easier to clean

I Already had a Breville oven, but when saw the air fryer came white, aka sea salt, I had to get it. Love it. I mostly cook on convection which crisps up my vegetables and makes the top of my pizza nice & bubbly. I used the air fryer once, and I was a little too afraid it was getting the cabinet above the air fryer quite hot. It is still 8 inches away from the cabinet but it was getting very warm. It's also very loud when you have the air fryer running, so I don't really use that feature. Convection works just great. My only complaint is the black pan that comes with it is impossible to clean. I have tried everything from Dawn to the Magic eraser and grease just does not come off. I've run it with the dish washer countless times and it's still sticky and greasy. It's a real problem because I'm ready to throw out the pan and I don't know what to replace it with.

this is a great oven for a ton of things. toast, roasting, air frying which I had never done before, reheat function is awesome instead of micro, baking I make a small lasagna in it when my kitchen was being remodeled and I didnt have an oven. Oh and cookies too. Which by the way turned out perfect as I got waylaid helping one of the contractors, but since it stopped when the time was up they were perfect, not burned. I wondered how much I would use it when my kitchen was done and for me and my husband I use it almost every day. Baked potatoes are great as it heats up fast and convection speeds up the time. Preheats quick. Good size for fairly large dishes. Pizza is perfectly done and crisp. I have air fried potatoes and chicken thighs. Delish!
