High quality coffee at home

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What can I say? I freaking love this coffee machine! It's completely transformed how I make coffee every day. I love the process now - for myself and making my husband coffee too.
The machine was extremely easy to set up using the quick guide, I did it whilst on a video call with my parents with no issues. The touch screen is brilliant and it means I can tweak each type of drink to exactly how I like and it's ready to go!
I've made flat whites, lattes, cappacinos and cold brews so far and it has been a pleasure. I love that the machine itself is also compact and fits in my tiny kitchen well. I'm able to buy high quality coffee beans and coffee beans from my favourite chain (Costa) and make amazing brews. The milk frother is good and has inspired me to start practicing latte art.
Aesthetically it looks brilliant and the finish makes it easy to clean, the drip tray etc are all easy to clean. My only concern is that you can't remove the hopper to clean and that worries me as I feel like this might cause problems after some time with ground coffee build up. It is noisy but not really any noiser than other machines so it doesn't personally bother me.
This has totally transformed my mornings and I look forward to making my coffee now, I feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to test this!

Amazing coffee!

The Bean Adapt Technology really brings out the flavor in every shot, and the built-in grinder is super convenient. I also appreciate the option to froth milk manually or automatically depending on my mood. Sleek design, great performance, and totally worth the investment. It is also very easy to clean. My morning coffee has never been better!

Tedious setup but most likely worth it

I knew it would take some deducted time to get it setup properly but this setup took way longer than i expected. The first thing you should know when purchasing this is that it does NOT come with starter beans, so you will have to have your own to get started. The instructions on the machine are decent and seem like they would be pretty easy to walk through but at times using all the different parts became very confusing. I wound up making a mess when i wasn’t expecting to and am still not totally sure i have it set up correctly. I am sure once i get it all figured out, it will be well worth it but definitely a very frustrating set up process.

Great beginner espresso machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The La Specialista Touch is the first espresso machine I have had with a built-in grinder or a touch-screen display. My background is a manual machine and separate grinder. I was skeptical that an all-in-one could win me over but this really has. Bean Adapt made dialing in my grind effortless and quick. I was even able to adjust things like pre-infusion which I was not expecting. The tamping guide and other tools that this comes with are helpful for getting consistently good espresso with less effort than I'm used to. This machine has made espresso go from something that I enjoy occasionally to something I enjoy daily.
The workflow is very quick and easy with this machine. You push the portafilter in under the grinding area to start grinding. Once its finished you tamp, remove the guide, and put the portafilter into the brewhead. You tap the screen to start the process of making the drink and it will even automatically add hot water if you're doing an Americano or Long Black. The result is good tasting espresso and cleanup is quick too: just knock your puck out, rinse, and you're ready to make another. The steam wand works well and makes it easy to forth up some microfoam, though a bit of practice manually frothing will yield a better result.
This elegant machine has a few drawbacks I'd like to point out. First is that it is barely too tall to fit under low cabinets. If you plan to have it on your counter be sure to measure first. The second issue I have is that the "cold brew" is not very good, it comes out very under-extracted and watery, just ignore the cold brew function and make iced Americanos instead. A final nitpick is that there isn't a manual mode where you can turn the pump on/off and just brew on your own. You can plan ahead and define a custom drink recipe which can work but it won't scratch the itch for controlling the entire brew process yourself.
Overall this is an excellent machine and despite the minor things I pointed out it has managed to get more use than my other espresso machine and grinder, and to me that speaks volumes about how good this thing is.

Will never use another machine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just got my DeLonghi La Specialista Touch today, and I’m already wondering why I didn’t buy this thing sooner. First off, it looks so good on my counter I half expected it to come with its own spotlight. Setup was super easy—even for someone like me who usually avoids instruction manuals like the plague. Within an hour, I had my first espresso shot pulled and it was rich, smooth, and had that beautiful crema that made me feel like a pro (or at least look like one). The built-in grinder and smart tamping station are game changers—no mess, no guesswork, just great coffee. I haven’t fully tested the milk frother yet, but it already looks like it’s going to put my old steam wand to shame. Hands down the best machine I’ve ever used—and I’ve been through a few. If this thing keeps performing like it did today, Starbucks might start wondering where I went.

Automatic milk frothing is a gamechanger

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve never been a barista, but I do love coffee, and I LOVE this machine. I typically use a pour over at home, so making espresso based drinks is new for me. The La Specialista Touch makes it easy to set up exactly how your beans should be ground and ready to go, even down to the color of your beans and the hardness of your water. The instructions are easy to follow. (Just FYI, the portafilter comes with the double filter already installed.)
Since setting it up, I’ve made two flat whites, a cappuccino, and a latte and I’m even looking forward to using this to make hot water for my tea. It heats up the water faster than my kettle. My absolutely favorite part is the automatic milk frothing. Could not be easier.
This product is perfect for someone like me that doesn’t really know what they’re doing with making espresso drinks but loves to drink them. And, it looks amazing on my counter! I finally feel like I have the fancy coffee maker I’ve been drooling over for years. Highly recommend. I received this product in exchange for my honest review.
