Literally a total game changer! It’s super easy to use with the touchscreen and makes amazing espresso, lattes, and cold brew in minutes. The automatic frother is perfect for getting that creamy, coffee shop-style foam. It is surprisingly compact for all the features it packs in. Maintenance is easy and cleaning it is a breeze compares to orher espresso machines like Nestle. Design-wise it makes my kitchen counter look so bougie!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the De'Longhi La Specialista for about a month now, and I’m genuinely impressed. As someone who loves good coffee but isn’t a professional barista, this machine strikes the perfect balance between ease of use and hands-on control.
One of my favorite things is how it walks you through each step—from grinding to tamping to brewing—making it very beginner-friendly without feeling too automated. It gives you the feel of making a true espresso without overwhelming you with complexity. Plus, the machine itself is compact, which is great if you’re working with limited counter space.
The built-in frothing options are a huge bonus. I love that it includes both an auto-frothing function and a manual steam wand, depending on how involved you want to get. Whether I'm making a quick latte or practicing latte art, it’s up for the task.
Yes, it can be a bit loud while grinding, but it hasn’t been a deal-breaker for me. It’s a small trade-off for the quality and convenience this machine offers.
Overall, the La Specialista makes me feel like I have a mini Starbucks in my kitchen. It’s a fantastic option for at-home baristas or anyone looking to step up their coffee game without diving into the deep end of fully manual machines.

From the sleek design to the amazing touchscreen, it practically makes the coffee itself for you! It walks you through every step of whichever type of coffee you are making from getting the perfect grind of the beans all the way to the absolutely amazing auto-frothing!

I was hesitant to switch from my fully automatic espresso machine to a manual one, but it has been very easy to learn. It is fully customizable and easy to use, simply follow the instructions on the touch screen to create a preset drink, or make your own. It’s perfect for beginners as well. The milk temperature is customizable and it cleans itself. Maintenance is easy, but does require cleaning after each use. There are many drink options and it has been fun trying them all. Highly recommend if you’re in the market for an espresso machine. If you make coffee every day, this is an investment you won’t regret.

The on screen setup makes setting up the machine for first time such a breeze. It can feel intimidating when taking it out of the box, but the instructions are clear and concise. The espresso it makes is legitimately incredible tasting. There is nothing like espresso from fresh beans. The machine is so sleek and high quality and I love the look of it on my countertop. So glad I’ll be able to make my white mochas at home!!

Fancy espresso machine with all the gadgets you ne

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off let me start by saying to program it is a good bit of work. You do have to test your water hardness and do a few other things to get the perfect cup of espresso. I don't know if this would be just a weekend machine for me or if this would be practical to use during the week as well. I will say it makes pretty great cold brew in about 6 minutes. The only thing is, I've yet to figure out how to make regular drip. I'm sure there's a way. I just haven't figured it out yet. I made my own frosted coffee by using the double cold brew feature, adding about 3 oz of ice, adding some vanilla syrup, and about 83 g. of ice cream. Add all of that to a blender and blend until it sounds smooth. I made one for my husband and one for me and they were both great. I would recommend this espresso machine to someone who is a coffee connoisseur. But for daily usage I don't know if it's practical.

Great for beginners

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a modestly experienced espresso maker, I’m used to dialing in my fresh beans and frothing my own milk. This machine is great for newcomers to espresso, it holds your hand and tells you what to do at every step. It has a dialing in feature, where it tells you exactly what to do, and what to adjust if the coffee pours too fast or too slow. I found this did ok, I had one bag that it got perfect and then over the week the shots got worse and worse, despite the beans being fresh. But I had another bag it nailed right away and they stayed consistent. There are many drink options on the touch screen, and all are adjustable to your preferences which is nice. The auto froth feature for the milk does ok, it doesn’t really create microfoam for latte art but does make a nice cappuccino. I was able to get decent microfoam with the manual feature. I love that the frothing wand auto rinses after every use. The attachable collar for the coffee dousing works great, and there are marks on the tamp to help you adjust amounts without using a scale. I do wish the machine came with a distribution tool for before you tamp. The machine heats up super quick, which is so nice on busy mornings. The cold brew feature doesn’t exactly make what I consider cold brew, it tastes more just like iced coffee rather than that specific smooth flavor profile, but it is still tasty. I think this is perfect for the beginner, to learn about dialing in your shots and how different drinks are made. It’s a well made machine that looks pretty displayed too!
