[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] THESE ARE AMAZING. They fit so well to your head for AMAZING sound. Controls are so easy to use you can even control them from your phone. The do not feel cheap at all made very well out of very good material no cheap plastic which is awesome. Very happy!!

Fantastic Headset

I prior used an Arctis Nova 7 Gen 1 as what this is replacing. The sound engines for games, mobile app, and additional battery life, and phone audio played through the headset while gaming, attracted me to upgrading! My prior headset was still running strong (for 2+ years!) but I was deeply incentivized to upgrade.
So far the headset has been fantastic. Perfectly what I expected, what I'm used to, but with even more battery and features.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Swapped over from a Upper Class Headset,
I am surprised how light it is the battery is amazing, the Sound ist good the Software ist alright.
The only real Downside ist the Mic its really Not that good, but Overall it was a solid purchase and i would buy it again.

Comfortable, versatile, unique headset

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this model recently, and I've used it for a good while before deciding on what all I want to point out in the review. First of all, it's a very great headset, it's perfect for what I like to do most, which is watch videos and play games, both by myself and with friends. These headphones work well for switching around between the various media comfortably. They're noise-cancelling in multiple ways- the physical structure of the cups surround your ear to help block out sounds, while also having AI noise cancelling that detects outside audio and tunes it out if you're wanting it to. Overall, the audio is clear and vibrant, definitely some of the best I've experienced. It also has very, very distinct spacial audio, the 360 sound is super immersive.
The headset comes with a built-in mic that slides in and out of a small cavity on the left slide, it's flexible to adjust, and my friends say that my vocal audio is usually good! I've heard myself in recordings as well, I do feel confident that this is probably the best mic I've had personally. It's really nice that the mic is attached, so you won't lose it, but you can still insert it back into the headphones when you don't want to use it. There is a button next to the mic that turns it on and off, as well.
There's various knobs and buttons on the headset, for powering on and off, turning on Bluetooth connection, adjusting general volume, and one for changing the ratio between your game audio and your chat audio and THAT is something I've always needed.
The headset has three different ways you can connect to devices with: Bluetooth, wireless using a connected dongle, and standard plug-in using a separate cord. All three work well and sound well, I usually use the wireless dongle connectivity for my own convenience.
The battery life is actually kind of crazy, in my opinion. I charge them each night when I go to bed, but if I were to forget to do that, they'd still be just fine the next day when I want to use them again. They last a solid amount of time, but don't have to sit and charge for very long at all.
This headset is nice to wear, they aren't too big or clunky, but still have a thicker head band and ear cups that mold well to the head. The band is adjustable, and then the addition strap that lifts the hard band away from your head is also adjustable! I believe the cup cushions can also come off if you're ever wanting to replace them or clean them, too. I wear earrings often, and I haven't noticed any discomfort when wearing my headphones on top of the earrings.
Lastly, there is an optional software that comes with the headphones! They work just fine without it, but I really like it and it's definitely for the consumer that wants to have extra adjustability and customizing in their audio experience. You can change up the way the audio is for specific things, like gaming, music, video, calls. You can modify the AI noise cancelling to be intense or subtle, depending on what you like more. You can adjust your own mic's audio, too. There's multiple save slots to preserve your different presets you've made, and there's also plenty of presets already developed that you can choose from. The GG software also has a feature that will record clips when you're playing video games! It recognizes the game you're playing, and it's able to detect things like laughter from you or anyone else you might be playing with and it will record a clip of that moment. You can change how long you want clips to be, or you can set it to record the entire playthrough. Additionally, there's a feature that I haven't yet tried, and it's a 3D Aim Trainer, I'm not really into the shooter genre but I'm sure there's plenty of people who would get a lot of use out of this!
These headphones feel very unique, in my opinion. I've had plenty of regular headphones, earbuds, I've had another pair of headphones that were geared towards gaming and music and I really liked those as well, but these SteelSeries ones just seem far more developed and made for gaming specifically. Even if they can be pricey for some, I actually think it's worth it, and I'm definitely someone who tries to cut corners with prices if I'm able to- these are just worth the value when it comes to audio, how you sound in your calls or games, the versatility, the long-lasting charge.

My only complaint is that when i use them for too long it my ears start to hurt from discomfort. But that only happens when I'm playing for hours and hours on end. It's very easy to travel with love the bag they came in. I wasn't hard to connect the Bluetooth

Bought this for my bf and he’s had little issues with it so far. It’s waaaay comfier than my headset I’ll tell you that. He didn’t mention any issues with connection or sound quality and he’s an A-1 complainer so I think it’s a solid headset.
I would recommend this to a friend!
