Terrible user interface

I tried this in store thinking that the knobs would make it easy and intuitive to use and was immediately discouraged from purchasing. One might think that the left knob controls function (bake, broil, etc) and the right knob controls temp - it does not. The left knob scrolls through menus and are horribly unintuitive. Even when you get the thing on you would think that simply turning the right knob would adjust the heat right? Nope! You've gotta go through to touch screen first! I would discourage anyone from purchasing this based entirely on the user interface - it makes what should be a simple straightforward concept and makes it as frustrating as navigating a 2000s era GPS system.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love everything about this unit. It’s very similar to our 20 year old Jenn Air. Its heats up very quickly and is very quiet in comparison . All the features have been great so far. Its newly installed a little over a month. New smell burned off after a few uses. The only things we don’t care for about it is that the timer chime even on high volume isn’t very loud. When you start the oven to preheat the interior light stays on until you manually turn it off. An automatic shut off would be nice. Other than those small things we love it. In our opinion worth the extra money.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s early days, but so far so good, with two exceptions. Twice now, while baking, the oven automatically canceled the program. Fortunately, we were in the kitchen, noticed this, and restarted the program. We’ll have to monitor this. We reported this to KiitchenAid. Second, we have an order emanating from the oven while baking. We were advised to run the oven at 400° for two hours. Did so, but no improvement. We think the odor is coming from the door and suspect a piece of the plastic film used to protect the glass before installation is trapped behind the facia.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Only had this about a month and a half, but love it! Cooks quickly and evenly. Love that it has an air fryer. It's very smart. The built in recipes so far are perfect. Features are fantastic
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this oven a month ago and so far so good. Works fine but I wish the alarm when the timer ended was louder and I love the extended slide out shelve but prefer the flexibility of having three removable wire racks that we had on our old kitchenaid.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 20 year old, very well used (I bake a ton of sourdough!) Kitchenaid wall oven started having some issues, so I ordered the new model, sight unseen, over the internet. This new oven is baking my breads beautifully! So far I’m happy and impressed.
