Bad product, bad service

A bad product with worse service.
From the very first day we got it, it has many problems. Makes occasional grinding noise, the fan keeps on for 15 min even if the microwave runs for 5s. The microwave occasionally fails saying "power to your appliance was lost ...". The microwave takes forever to heat food.
The service from KitchenAid is horrible, the replaced multiple parts, but problem persists, and keep sending technicians again and again without resolution.
Would not recommend this product.

I picked this microwave for a new house installation. It has functioned as stated. I'm gradually using all of the cooking options. All of them have worked correctly. It's been in use for 15 months.

I have only one complaint: I like to read, that is how I learn, I wish there was a booklet outlining all the great features.

No control pad lock

What a difference

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought for a new home but have only used the reheat setting so far. I am impressed with all the new features especially air frying setting and look forward once I move in permanently to experimenting with each new setting.. I expect a learning curve on my part - my older microwave was top of the line 13 years ago. What a difference 13 years makes!

Stay away!

I bought this microwave because it was the only one that fit in the space over our cooking range. The microwave is totally ineffective in venting out the fumes even when it is attached to an venting hood. It recirculates 80% of the fumes in the kitchen. The result is a cough attack while cooking.
The display cannot be switched off, so cleaning this microwave is a nightmare because you keep hitting the display.
The microwave intensity is also weak. It takes 1.30 min to heat a plate of food
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
