My best friend asked me to DJ his wedding. I don't normally play weddings so I needed to throw some lighting together last minute. I bought 2 Lightboks, put them on stands, paired them up and let them go to work. They worked perfectly for adding to the 'dance party' vibe the bride and groom were looking for.

It dances beautifully to the light. However I REALLY need my 2 Lightboks to team up automatically without having to use the app. I need to be able to set them and forget them, especially when I’m in the middle of DJing where going on my phone to open the Soundboks app is bad body language while performing. Also, the horizontal banding / flicker is INSANELY bad. The best shutter speed is 1/30 and even at that shutter speed, you still get a bit of banding. Please fix ASAP! Otherwise the updates are awesome, so keep them coming. Hopefully we can mitigate flicker with a firmware update?

Soundboks makes great stuff, the engineering, build quality is unmatched. you get what you pay for and when I saw a discounted price on the Lightboks, I jumped on getting one. I really love the unit, I am going to buy another one. If I had to add one thing, it would be a threaded mounting hole in the unit. But I can use a clamp along the top for now.
