Whirlpool induction cooktop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m so happy with my new induction cooktop from whirlpool. Our kitchen was renewed and was installed recently. I’m reviewing after few days of use. The installation was easy and size is just perfect for my use. It looks really beautiful in my kitchen. The heating was quick and no problems were encountered for now. Overall it’s good in quality and design.

Easy clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a few months ago. I like the easy clean, but I’m not a fan on the delayed turn on and not always easy to change the temps while using. I had to replace my IKEA stovetop which turned on immediately, cleaned up well and had a timer located on it. Many more pluses for half the price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this whirlpool induction cooktop. It’s so beautiful. I like the well designed control panel. Heating up is a breeze. The cooktop is easy too clean. I just wipe it clean with a wet rag. I like the design for a long riddle for pancakes. I got a really good deal on this too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this cooktop a couple of weeks ago and I am very happy with it. The only downside is that the central burner with the temperature function requires a very large pot.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It's okay, but a downgrade from older units

This cooktop is okay, but I wouldn't buy it again. Keep in mind, I love induction. I had a KitchenAid Architect Series II before, which was fantasic. Unfortunately that unit was killed by a lightining strike to the power lines near my house. It was also a Whirlpool made product, so I thought it would work the same. I also bought this new unit because it has a burner layout that I like. Once I get it up and cooking, it is great. It heats up quickly and evenly and is easy to clean. My main problem with it is that the touchscreen is terrible. Any bit of moisture on your fingers or on top of the control area makese it unable to tell you are touching it. I have to tap on the thing multiple times to get it to work. This is typical, not just an occasional issue. Also, my old KitchenAid unit only had settings 1-9, which was much better than this one with 1-18. More temperature control is nice, but moving the slider just 1 number setting is nearly impossible. If I want to move up 1, I usually have to go down 2 and back up 3 to get it in the right spot. Also, while cleaning is easy, it shows every spot easily, so it alwasy looks really dirty unless I have just cleaned it. So, bottom line, I love induction cooktops, but this one is kind of a pain.

Sleek and beautiful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very sleek and beautiful cooktop! Works exactly as expected. The smart presets on the cooktop work incredibly well. Cleans up easily. I still have a lot of messing around with it to do, but so far my household loves it!

Induction

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m still waiting for my kitchen renovation to be completed before I can install and fully test this cooktop. Once it’s up and running, I’ll update this review with my hands on experience.
That said, based on what I’ve seen so far, it appears to be a well crafted appliance with impressive features. I especially love the FlexHeat element. It accommodates multiple pan sizes, which my previous induction cooktop couldn’t do. The rapid boil function is another standout. Induction is already known for fast heating, so I’m curious to see just how quickly this one performs.
