[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It seems very good. A manual of each cooking program wood be very helpful, or an online tutorial. Why doesn't it come with a third rack? My older kitchen and had a third split rack.

Great oven and control features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the look and the oven. The burners are hard to regulate. They burn to high so to simmer something is very difficult. The only burner that has a smaller base is the back left one. My fault I guess for not noticing it in the store.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had for a few weeks and really loving it. I may at some point spring for the stainless steel knobs, but for now we're happy. The noises for the up-to-temp and timer are quite lovely, and I like the screen on the top for function and aesthetic. This range is definitely the best value for the money.

I'm sorry my old KitchenAid range broke. This replacement is far inferior. First off ... the exterior of the oven gets very HOT if you are baking something. The top front of the oven, just below the display is probably unsafe for children to touch. There should have been a warning about this. The sides of the oven get hot as well and I'm wondering how this might damage the cabinets on either side of the oven. Don't touch the back of the stove top where the vent is. That will give you a first degree burn in two seconds. Second ... as another reviewer mentioned there is no operating manual that comes with the range. Fortunately you can go to KitchenAid website and download a copy. Third ... the electronic preferences to set things like date, clock, F/C, sounds, etc are not very intuitive. Refer to the manual. BTW, the sound, even at a maximum setting is not very loud. And if you are preheating the oven, there is no sound that tells you the oven has reached temperature. Fourth ... there is one light on the oven front that indicates that ONE OF THE FOUR heating elements on the stove is too hot to touch. You have to examine all four. My old oven had a hot-indicator for each element on a display grid. Fifth ... there are only two oven racks. One holds an optional water reservoir for "steam baking." The other is for the broiler unit (I think). It is very difficult to insert this rack or to change positions within the oven. Otherwise, the stove portion of this range seems adequate. I've been using this oven for 2 days now. OH... when you first fire up the oven to bake or roast be sure to open a window because fumes come pouring out because of the protective oils applied for warehousing and transporting purposes. It really stinks. You should probably heat the oven to 500 degrees for an hour or so before you use the oven.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Like the styles and the looks of the range installation went smooth Two issues I have, though one the burners were not adjusted very well. I had to readjust them myself. They would not go to low settings and they were just too high, but I was able to fix it on my own from manual instructions second there were supposed to be a free griddle offer when registering the range. I follow the directions and I even called whirlpool. No one could help me with the free griddle offer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not exactly happy that the broiler is electric and not gas. Guess we should have checked before we purchased. There was also an offer in the paperwork for a free griddle but can't figure out how to claim it. Other than those 2 things. we love the stove.
