[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had a similar one we purchased in 2020 and loved it. Three racks, slide out easily and smoothly, wine glass holders, adjustable shelf. We recently moved to another home and were hopeful we could get the same model. Unfortunately, (we thought) when we contacted Kitchenaid, we were told there was newer model that was even better. We got that one and they were correct. Even though the previous one did a great job cleaning, this one is even better! We are very pleased with this model.

Great Dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace/upgrade another KitchenAid, which never really fit in my opening and was (after many years) wearing out. I don't have single quibble with this one, even though I was skeptical of needing a 3rd rack (actually very handy for lids and utensils.) Items turn out sparkling clean no matter where they're placed. And- like my earlier model- the fact that it has a heating element to dry dishes is so much better than units which 'air dry' only. It's super-quiet, the controls are hidden- and easy to use. Finally, when it's done, it pops the door open, just a few inches, so you know the cycle's over.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I like the door open feature. I don’t like that only one rack has a pull handle. The older models has a kitchen aid handle for easy open in all 3 racks. Without the handle it’s harder to open the racks and feels cheap. Noisy with a humm. My previous dishwasher was same decibels but a lot quieter. Has a nice light when I open the door.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced a 9 1/2 yo leaking top of the line Kitchenaid DW with this, even though there was another very discounted similar model. Purchased for the additional jets, the Pro dry, the top rack, and adjustable middle rack. My old machine had a flat third level rack that I ended up removing. This one has the space for bowls and small things on one side, which is handy. My husband and I are both cooks and we use our dw almost daily.
Easy to tell this is a quality built product. Still learning how to max load it, and trying to figure out why the flatware basket comes with a lid where you have to stick in everything except knives upside down. I've removed one side of the lid.
Dishwasher works well, still figuring out the cycles as they are a bit different from my old machine.

Dishwasher is awesome

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced a 1 yr old LG that started leaking with this dishwasher. The interior space of the kitchenaid dishwasher is very very nice. The layout was well thought out and all size dishes fit very well. Basically there are no areas on the racks that become dead or unused space like the LG had. The top most rack is the best, because we can also fit small dishes plus cooking utensils up there. The top rack has the 360 jet system, in general I can say that the dishes regardless of what rack they are on get cleaned very well. That has not been the case with other dishwashers in the past.
I am knocking off one star due to the dishwasher not being the most quiet. It is 44db so coming from a 40dB it was noticeable. The fact it cleans better and has more jets is likely why the higher noise rating. I added sound deadning material to the floor under the dishwasher to make it quieter and it has worked well, probably just as quiet as our old dishwasher now. I also noticed that the components on the dishwasher are very simple. Initially I took this as being cheap, but compared to the densely packaged and over engineered LG, this will be a good thing if it ever needs to be serviced in the future as it will make repairs easy and cheap when it comes out of warranty. That was the downfall of our old dishwasher, repair costs exceeded the cost of the dishwasher.
I did need to contact support for an issue and I was pleasantly surprised to speak to a human from Georgia. That alone sold me, we get local customer support on our appliance's! The support person was super knowledgeable of the kitchenaid products and even answered my question of why the dishwasher comes new with small amounts of moisture on the lines (they test each and every one of them apparently). They straightened my issue right away too!
