Exceeds expectations

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our first dishwasher with a third rack, and we love the extra depth compared to others on the market. Having extra space on top for glasses and cups makes it easy to find space to load in larger items, like pots and pans. No matter how full it is, everything comes out clean. It's also so quiet, I have to remind the family it's running so they don't accidentally open it! We like to use the ProMax Dry feature with the door open function and there's rarely any dampness. I also love that the filter takes care of itself. We switched from a drawer-style dishwasher, so there was a learning curve, but it's been well worth it!

Excellent Dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m very happy with this KitchenAid dishwasher. It has great capacity, and the third rack is very useful for silverware and small items. It cleans dishes very well, even after a full load, and the filtration system works great. The dishes come out clean, fresh, and mostly dry. It also runs quietly, which is perfect for our kitchen. Overall, this is an excellent dishwasher and I would definitely recommend it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great dishwasher. Large capacity, quiet, drying works great. Rack configuration is a little different than other brands, but after a couple loads to figure out it works well.

Do Not Buy This Dishwasher
on March 12, 2026

Our last 3 dishwashers have been KitchenAid and prior to this purchase, I sang their praises anytime someone asked for a recommendation. This time, however, I'm unbelievably disappointed in the quality of the of the product, the handling of the warranty, and the after-sales support from their authorized support via a third party.
Our dishwasher has been installed for less than 4 months and was operating perfectly, then a few weeks ago it started to pause in the middle of a cycle. Initially, it only happened once per cycle, but soon after we had to make a habit of checking the dishwasher every so often to make sure it hadn't paused. We also noticed that the screen/power would shut off intermittently when we were opening or closing the door, which seemed odd, but it would turn back on eventually. We decided to put in a support ticket with KitchenAid. Since this dishwasher is so new, it's supposed to be completely covered under warranty. KitchenAid scheduled a third party to come out and perform a diagnosis. During this visit, I had the strangest interaction I've ever had with a contractor. He parked his car in front of my driveway on the road with it still running and the hazards on, then came inside and sat down on the floor cross-legged and repeatedly opened and closed the dishwasher, pressing a few buttons here and there, not saying a word. He then concluded confidently that the latch had gone bad and it would be 7-10 days until we got the part. I pushed back saying that I didn't think the power should be shutting off related to the latch. He brushed me off suggesting I didn't know what I was talking about. A few days later, the unit is non-responsive; it is clear there's a wiring issue because the display will flicker on for a moment and then shut off again depending on the door's position. And as of this week, there is now no power to the display, we can't do anything to drain the water that has been in the unit for weeks, so we reached out to the third party company again. They ignored several emails and voicemails from us saying we didn't think it was the latch—we finally received word from them that the latch part was in and they scheduled another visit, but didn't show up. We called them and they said the part hadn't arrived. We then got a call back that it had actually arrived but they couldn't send anyone out for another week.
Our dishwasher has now been filled with nasty water for nearly a month because we can't drain it since the power isn't working, and the technician who performed the diagnostics is working on the wrong solution.
At this point, I'm disappointed in the initial build quality of the unit, the selection of the third party by KitchenAid, and the handling of the warranty claims. This unit is far too expensive to fail within 4 months and not have adequate, expeditious support.
I will not be buying a KitchenAid dishwasher in the future and I suggest you think long and hard before you do too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this dishwasher last month and have finally used it enough to give it a review. Delivery was great and install was easy! Overall, it’s a good dishwasher, not great. The cycle times are LONG. It vents out the bottom so condensation sometimes makes the floor wet, washing is not the best. I’ve taken dishes out still with spots and debris on them that every other dishwasher I’ve owned would have been able to take off. After a 2:45 minute cycle, an air fryer basket placed on the bottom looked untouched. The color is great, but the handle already has a small scratch.
The racks take some getting used to, my cups fall over and shift when placed in the top rack, the utensil holder on the bottom takes up a lot of room, and no large plates or cutting boards can be placed in the bottom rack as they hit the middle racks spray arm.
For the first month, the dishwasher made the loudest thumping when it was running the top rack sprayers. Found out when the top spray arm turned. It was hitting the clips that mounted to the ceiling making a horrible sound. I just bent the clips back and this seemed to dissolve the issue. But example of not the best quality control.
Love the door that pops open, that definitely helps with drying! I wish it had a delicate cycle for wineglasses, and a quicker wash cycle than the hour and 10 minute express.
