Cleans quietly, efficiently, but problems arise

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It worked well for a month, but then the automatic door opener failed and we couldn’t close the door and run it. We had to have it repaired (4 days wait) and one week wait for parts. New design-new problems.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Extremely Quiet

We looked at many dishwashers and decided this one had the features we liked most and received a lot of good reviews. It is very quiet! It ha the 3 drawers which takes some getting use to that top rack. The mid rack is lower so I tend to grab the upper rack and pull it out, when I mean to grab the middle rack. I'll get use to it and get it right. My only real complaint is the middle rack the horizontal tynes that your cup would sit on, are a little to curvy. Things slide more than I'd like. Still trying to figure out where to place some bowls. We tend to fill up the bottom rack a lot faster than the middle rack. We like that the door pops open at the end of the washing cycle. It lights up clean when it's finished. Everything comes out pretty dry. Just a little bit of water on some plastic containers. I'd give it an A. I'd buy it again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The top control panel is too sensitive to any touch while lifting the door up from its furthest down position and very hard to dress drain/supply lines during installation under counter top.

Sparkling clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One week in for owning this dishwasher and we have been impressed with sparkling clean, dry dishes. We save energy by scheduling it to run when electricity is the cheapest. I like that the door pops open after the cycle has completed. And the third rack specifically designed for cups, along with a designated sprayer, makes this the perfect dishwasher.

Good dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dishwasher recently and am satisfied with how it cleans dished, however, the silverware basket that came with is abysmal. Most of the holes designed to separate the silverware pieces are too small for my silverware.

Best dishwasher ever!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This id my second KitchenAid dishwasher. I recently bought a new house and it had a new dishwasher but it didn’t compare to KitchenAid. This dishwasher not only cleans well it is so easy to load. It’s a great design! I can really fill this dishwasher up with dirty dishes. The other brand, I could only get about half the dishes in it and it was the same size.
I would recommend this to a friend!
