Good dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far the dishwasher is working well. I really like the third rack. The dishwasher is very quiet. Something to note is the dishwasher has a feature that at the end of the cycle, it will open the door on its own, however, this opening of the door does not happen right away, it takes about 15 - 20 minutes from when it completes the drying cycle. if you open the door yourself, before the automated system does it on its own, it may confused the dishwasher. The mechanism that opens the door, was stuck in the out position and we could not close the dishwasher. Resetting the dishwasher did nothing. A technician had to come to our house to get the mechanism back in its place. I cannot comment on longevity as I have only had it for about a month, but so far I am happy with my purchase. I took one star off due to having to get a technician to deal with the mechanism that opens the door. I would recommend KitchenAid to properly document in the users guide how it works and that the door does not open as soon as the drying cycle ends, that it takes about 15mins before it actually opens.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Machine is extremely quiet and does a great job. Main knockoff is configuration of racks. We love the larger top rack, which can accommodate small bowls as well as lids. Wish the knives could fit in the flatward storage compartment, bit they are too long. Also, arrangement of wires on bottom drawer is takikng some getting used to, but overal we like the unit.

Wash Arm Assembly support melted

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dishwasher is good, Customer service is non-existent. The lower wash arm assembly popped off the bottom and melted the support two weeks after I purchased the dishwasher. It was quicker for me to purchase the part online and have it shipped to my home then get a response from Kitchen Aid. This should have been covered under warranty but unless you can talk to someone you can't get it covered. I was tired of wasting my time. This was a Consumer Reports Recommended Dishwasher.

We can barely hear it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced a cheap builders grade washer with this one and so glad we did. Before we were taking out mugs with pooled water on them and having to dry them. Now everything comes out squeaky clean and bone DRY. We are running it less than the old one because of the 3 shelf capacity. we can barely hear it running, its so quiet at 44db (AI says its equivalent to a library)

The cups don’t get cleaned. The door hinges for feel as if they are break. It takes over 3 hours for one cycle.

Great dishwasher!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dishwasher was installed a little over two weeks ago. I am very happy with the extra (3rd) rack. This gives me a lot more room for everything. I like the fact that the dishwasher opens a few inches when the cycle is finished. I'm happy.
