Missing Piece

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Made an appointment for the dishwasher to be installed in a new kitchen. After unboxing the installer realized that Kitchenaid had not put a drain hose in the box!
He returned to the warehouse to locate one. He was nice enough to come back a few hours later when I was home to finish the install.

I absolutely LOVE this redesign of Kitchen Aid dishwasher. That being said the only missing addition which would be greatly appreciated is to have inside light go on when dishwasher opens. That would be TOPS!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this two weeks ago and use it almost nightly. Dishes come out spotless and totally dry. Shortest cycle is 1 hr 50 min due to special drying feature. Top shelf for utensils could be a little lower and flat in some areas, hard to put scalloped utensils up there. Overall, love it!

Limited loading flexibility

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always loved my Kitchen Aid products until I got this dishwasher. My previous dishwasher broke two days before Thanksgiving so we replaced it with this model. There is no flexibility in the racks and I am having to wash 2-3 loads in order to wash the same number of dishes. My previous machine offered the ability to lay down some of the tines or to adjust the width of the spacing. There is also less stability for my glasses because of less depth of the top drawer and different spacing of the framework making up the racks. This has caused several of my glasses to fall over in the wash cycle and I have had to run them through another cycle. Overall I av very disappointed with a brand I have loved in the past.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

KitchenAid dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this a month ago. We have been very happy with it. We can fit all our dishes in without taking the upper rack out. It does a great job cleaning. The normal cycle is a little long. We usually run the machine on the express cycle which works well.
