Nice upgrade to previous model!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had an earlier model Kitchenaid dishwasher for over 10 years. Unfortunately the rack started to rust and the silverware basket was broken. Went to a local retailer to look at replacement options and settled in on this model of Kitchenaid. We love the extra top rack with jets, and have found this unit cleans substantially better than our previous one, even though the design is not that much different? The touch panel works significantly better, and the drying feature is far superior (we like how the door opens slightly when the load is done!). The dB rating isn't quite as good as the previous model, but we cannot tell a difference in noise level - it's almost silent. Overall, for about what we paid for the first model over 10 years ago, we now have a significant upgrade. Hoping it lasts and performs well for years to come.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Amazing quietness and the 3rd shelf does a great job on the small lids and containers. Also, the auto open afterwards to let out steam is great too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My parents had all KitchenAid appliances when I was growing up, from the mixer to the dishwasher, etc. for 25 years with no problems ever. Then I had a Kitchen Aid dishwasher that just went out in my home.. It was 19 years old. So what did I do?? I went out and bought only the best!! Another new Kitchen Aid dishwasher. The last one was quiet and this new one is even more quiet when running. So I definitely am beyond happy with my new purchase. I love Kitchen Aid !!
