Kitchen Aid dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced a 24 year old unit and I like the Kitchen Aid very much! The dishes come out very clean. I’m still learning how to load it properly. Very roomy and quiet! The one thing I don’t like is the time it takes to wash a load. It is almost twice the time from the old one. Overall a good machine. I hope it lasts a long time!

SUPER QUIET- cleans well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dishwasher about 3 weeks ago to replace my almost identical Kitchen Aid dishwasher that needed replacing. I cannot explain how QUIET this dishwasher is! We can run it and barely even hear it. It has been cleaning great. I LOVE the third rack on top. It is slightly different than my previous model and doesn't hold as many cups in the third rack but I'm okay with that. So far- it's been working great!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I gave KitchenAid a second chance and regret it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gave KitchenAid a second chance and regret it. My last KitchenAid dishwasher lasted less than three years, and I assumed it was a fluke. It wasn’t. The brand-new unit I just bought didn’t even make it through half a cycle before throwing error codes, making a terrible noise, and needing service.
From the day I requested service to the day a technician could show up, more than two weeks passed. By the time the repair was done—after replacing four or five parts on a brand-new machine—I had gone over 3½ weeks with no dishwasher at all.
What really stings is that KitchenAid won’t take back a defective appliance once it’s installed. Even if it fails immediately, you’re stuck in the service loop. I chose KitchenAid twice because it’s made in America, but the quality clearly isn’t what it used to be, and the price doesn’t match the performance.
I won’t be recommending KitchenAid to anyone, and I’ll be looking elsewhere next time. The reliability just isn’t there anymore.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Better than I had hoped

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had my néw dishwasher almost a month and so far I love it, especially the automatic door opening feature. I run the dishwasher at night before going to bed; the door pops open, and when i get up, everything is completely dry. I rarely have to run it every day, snd it still gets everything sparkling clean.

Horrible lower rack

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The lower rack of this dishwasher must have been designed by monkeys. The wide space for pots and pans in the middle of the rack is senseless. The store model I checked out before buying, must have been an older model because it had adjustable tines and this model does not. I would not recommend buying this model.
