Great addition to any writer’s arsenal of tools
on October 30, 2025

Got this because i wanted a reMarkable that i could use to take notes without having to carry a full size notebook around with me all the time. I love my reMarkable full size, but i can’t just tuck it in my purse and take it places with me. It also fits in my hands better, and i can use it for longer without hand cramps. The color doesn’t do much for me, but it’s a convenient addition i’ve used a few times. it’s especially convenient with importing pdfs from outside, that already have color in them.
On the whole, a really useful addition to my writing tools.

Very frustrated with this product.

Very frustrated with this product. I purchased it so I could use it on the go but it freezes and I have done a ticket for it already and they say plug it into my computer to reset it. For the amount of money paid this should not be happening and it has happened now 3 times since I purchased.

Pocket Gadget
on November 4, 2025

I’m hesitant to buy things on instagram ads because I never know if there real or not. Let me tell you I’m so happy I did! This is the coolest notebook I own. I’m a big paper pen kind of person and I HATE writing stuff in my phone. This little thing is AMAZING. Perfect size portable and really easy to use. I have been looking for an actual notebook sized gadget like this for forever and I can finally say I found one. It’s a little pricey but I’d gladly buy it again. BUY IT YOU WONT REGRET IT!!!!

Almost Perfect
on November 6, 2025

It's almost perfect. Paper like feel when writing. I can actually stick it in my back jeans pocket when going in to talk to customers.
If you are planning on using the light, expect battery to drain faster that I would expect. And the light itself is a little "dull" or muted. Even at the brightest setting unless you're in pitch black conditions it leaves the ability to read very muted and dull.
I prefer to use this over the Remarkable 2 but the 2 is still useful as well for when I am reviewing meeting notes from using the Paper Pro Move.
I wish I had use for the colors but not sure I do at this point.

Good bye to losing information and missing great ideas
on November 8, 2025

The Paper Pro Move is one of my new best friends.
I have a lot going on in my life. I’m also a creative. I also have ADHD. I also used to miss a lot and be overwhelmed trying to keep all my ideas and information straight without getting distracted.
I used to rely on multiple paper notebooks, voice memos, notes on my phone, sticky notes, contact information scribbled on whatever was available at the time, and various other “methods” (I use the term loosely) of capturing, keeping, and organizing information and ideas.
Now I have one tool for all of it. My Paper Pro Move is always there. I have notebooks and folders for everything in my life, and I capture everything I need to capture, and I can keep track of and find all of it, not only right there, but also on my phone, laptop, desktop at home, and desktop at work, when I need to.
Meeting notes. I can capture it all, then transcribe and email some or all of my notes right then and there. Game changer!
Maybe I’m driving and have a brilliant idea. I pull over or grab the Move at a traffic light and write it down.
I take notes when I’m with friends or family. I can just jot down ideas or information or instructions or recipes or to dos or movies to watch or whatever, and my phone is still in silent mode and put away, so I’m present and undistracted (as much as I can be present and undistracted).
I was one of the early users of reMarkable 2. I got the keyboard right when it came out. I used it a lot, and for many of the above things, but it didn’t fit in my pocket, and it wasn’t always there, and it didn’t allow me to see colors or highlight in color.
I also now have the Paper Pro with keyboard. I use it when I want to read or annotate PDFs, write/type more than a page or two, and access all of my past notes and files. The larger screen is perfect for all full page reading, editing, writing, etc. But it doesn’t fit in my pocket, so it’s hard to always have right there for anything.
With these two devices, I have saved hundreds of pages of loose papers and notebooks, and I can easily find everything. I used to print stuff from the internet or emails or doctors or work. Now it’s all organized in these two devices, and when I’m reading, writing, editing, thinking, working, and etc, there’s no distraction from emails, texts, social media, etc.
I wish I had these beautiful and powerfully useful tools decades ago. It would have saved me days or months of stress, frustration, distraction, and unproductivity. Not to mention reams and reams and reams of printer paper, notebooks, sticky notes, napkins, and other paper (have you ever ripped the flap off a box to make a note on? I did, many times, for lack of a better option and fear I would forget if I didn’t capture it right then). Those days are completely gone, now that my Paper Pro Move is with me.
Pro tips:
1. Train yourself to keep it with or pick it up with your phone and keys when going out of the house/car/office/toilet/etc.
2. When time comes to charge it, charge it while sitting at the desktop with the cord you would use to charge your wireless keyboard or other device, and keep a suitable cord in your car, at work, and wherever you charge your phone—it goes for a long time on one charge, so you can forget it even needs charging until you need to capture something right when it tells you it’s time to plug in.
3. Make Folders for the different areas and relationships and pursuits in your life, and use subfolders for things that are more complex like work or study or important relationships (I have maybe 15 subfolders under my partner’s name).
4. Immediately get it on wifi anytime you go to a new place.
5. One more: the quick notes option is great until your quick notes are 57 pages; better to make a new note with a date (I start every note title with YYYYMMDD) and a specific title (like “Marketing with Mark and Karen” or “Mom wants” or “Seiko novel Yakuza idea” or whatever. That way, if you don’t put it in a folder right away, it’s easy to do so later, and easy to search for when you need to.
6. Bonus: once you get a note put on your calendar or to do list, or once you did it or finished with it or moved the information to where it needed to be, delete it.

This the portable note pad I didn’t know I needed. I carry this with me everywhere! I can write anything from shopping lists to taking important notes at meetings. The writing is smooth and I love that I can write and highlight in color. The battery life is amazing! This keeps me so organized!! I love it!

Great workflow, not so great battery
on November 16, 2025
Posted by: Max P.
I like the small form factor that I can carry with me wherever I go. This integrates well with my workflow. I already own a RM2 which stays at my desk now. And I toss my Move in my bag or stuff it in my pocket when I have to go out for meetings or to work. The pages and notebooks I work on sync between the two devices, and if you scale things properly, it all looks the same on all devices. Make sure to scale to 1X for everything to appear consistent. 1X scaling works well in landscape mode as well.
Battery life is a challenge. When using consistently, it drains battery really fast! But good thing is that it holds the battery level well between uses, so that works out ok with me.
