I just can't wait!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just turn it on and I was amazed at all the features it has, and I did not need an antenna. I can't put it up yet but as soon as my granddaughter move out it's on. I can't wait to enjoy my beautiful TV.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first 55 inch smart TV from Samsung. I'm quite pleased with the clarity, the selection of TV , news, movie choices , because I have chosen a variety of apps.
Most of the time the TV responds quickly to my remote commands other than Netflix delays.

Mediocre tv. Okay for the price

You can see in the image it's not a very brightly lit room but lots of reflections on the screen and poor brightness (max'd out here). Tizen is a stuttering mess, the menus and UX are poorly designed. The remote however is good. Really like the volume up and down toggle.
For the price I think it's reasonable, just wish they'd use Google tv instead of tizen.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear you’re not fully satisfied with the picture quality on your Samsung U7900F TV. If the image appears too dark, we suggest disabling certain energy-saving features, which can automatically adjust brightness and affect how the screen looks.

Go to: Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Power and Energy Saving, then turn off Brightness Optimization, Energy Saving Solution, Motion Lighting, and/or Contrast Enhancer.

You can also adjust the Picture Mode to better suit your environment: Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode
• Standard – Default mode for general viewing
• Dynamic – Brighter and clearer, ideal for well-lit rooms
• Movie – Best for dark room viewing
• Eco – Energy-saving mode
• Filmmaker Mode – Preserves content as intended by creators

To fine-tune brightness, go to: Home > left directional key > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings, then adjust the Brightness level (0–50) to your preference.

Lastly, please make sure your TV is running the latest firmware: Home > Home > left directional key > Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now
