Perfect for charging anywhere

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] All of our family cars are EV. I do have a fast charger at home but this Schumacher SEV1670 is amazing for on the go. It is extremely well designed. Portable and light. Good length cord to easily reach an electric outlet and the plug fits my Rivian truck perfectly. Thanks Influenster for sending me this for free. So glad to have it for my truck!Now when on the road I don’t necessarily need a fast charger, just any plug will do. Great for on the go and even to keep in the trunk for emergencies. Doesn’t take up lots of space and super easy to use!!

Good for beginners

Excellent Portability: Lightweight and easy to transport for travel or to keep as an emergency backup.
High Durability: Strong IP66 rating on the main unit for weather resistance.
Long Cable: The 20-foot cable offers great flexibility.
Comprehensive Safety: Built-in protection against various faults (overcurrent, overvoltage, ground fault, etc.).
Simplicity: Plug-and-play operation with a standard household outlet.
Cons:
Slow Charging: As a Level 1 charger, it's very slow (3-5 miles/hour). This is a limitation of all Level 1 chargers, not just this model.
Connector Weight: Some users find the weight of the main control box can cause the NEMA 5-15P plug to sag or potentially dislodge from a loose outlet.
Cold Weather: Like many cables, it may become stiff and less manageable in freezing temperatures.

Great Charger, fits my Jeep!

It is sleek in design, and I like the added cover for the charger (the jeep brand charger doesn’t come with that). The cord is long, but it could be longer!! This is perfect as an additional charger to bring with me in the car for when I am on the go!

Convenient and easy to store
