Back elements too small

I have two small children and bought this range with child safety as my top priority. It’s safe in that the elements don’t heat up, just the pots and pans but this is entirely negated by the fact that there’s only one large element at the front. I’ve tried using my larger pots and pans on the back elements but food does not heat up around the edges and I get partially cooked food. This is also unsafe as I worry meat might be raw if cooked mostly on the edge of the pot. I don’t want my child accidentally pulling a hot pan on their head (they can reach the handles even when they’re turned in over the counter) so using the back elements is a must for me but I find them unusable unless cooking with my smallest saucepan.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
