Not just another pretty stove, performance to back it up!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently finished our kitchen upgrade with the Frigidaire Gallery 30” Freestanding Induction Range with Total Convection, and this range has been a real game changer. From the moment we unboxed it, it was clear this wasn’t just another shiny appliance. The sleek stainless-steel finish with the rear controls gave our renovated kitchen a clean, modern look.
Looks aside, this range really performs. The cooktop takes the flat-top concept to a whole new level with the 2-in-1 bridge element. This is something I had never seen before and it lets you use the two burners on the left separately or combine them into one big cooking space. Perfect when you’re working with larger pans or griddles.
This was my first time cooking on induction, and I have to say I was impressed. The cooktop heats up fast with no preheating, and I boiled a pot of water in under a minute. The heat is not only quick but consistent. No more hot spots burning one side of the pan while the other side struggles to warm. And if you need that extra push, the PowerBoost mode cranks things up to the next level.
The oven is just as impressive. We found the oven to be pretty spacious with lots of cooking room. The convection oven is a first for us and we found that we no longer had to worry about rotating the pan for even cooking because the fan located in the back seemed to circulate the hot air evenly for a perfect cooking temperature throughout the entire oven. My family’s new favorite is the built-in air fryer. It lets us cook way more food than our little countertop version, and everything comes out crispy all over. We haven’t even scratched the surface yet on what this range can do and features like the Air Sous Vide are still on my list to try, but we’re excited to see what else it can do.
On top of all that, cleanup is simple, which is a big deal in our house.
Overall, this range doesn’t just look good, it backs it up with performance. It’s taken our kitchen to another level, and we couldn’t be happier with it.

A Great Product!
on January 6, 2026
Posted by: Happy Cooking Family
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After our older stove failed, we started looking at the current options for a replacement. After careful consideration, we went with the inductive stove because we can use a protective cover over the top while cooking. This makes it so clean up is easy, and the stove top never gets scratched. We opted for the stove that had the controls on the back due to our 6 dogs, that conspired to chew up the knobs on our grill that were in their reach. The "P" setting on the burners will quickly boil water, and the speed of pans heating up is great. It works extremely well with the cast-iron pots we like to cook with. We would 100% recommend this stove for anyone looking to get a great all-around product.

Fast Heating Function on Induction Range/poor user manual
on January 16, 2026
Posted by: DNDWF
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have not had the opportunity to use all the functions yet and it has been a little learning curb on the operation of this Induction range. The control panel really is not a "Push" the button type to get it to work...we learned you have to just gently put your finger on the control "Without" pushing on them very hard at all and it senses the pressure enough to turn on to get them to function. another learning and added cost lesson, some of our older pots did not work on this induction range and will need to be replaced :-(. The user manual that came with it or even the website user manual is poorly written, mistakes it the function labels etc. while the all black top looks nice, it is kinda hard to keep looking clean and smudge marks show up very easily. You can't just wipe it down because all the water marks shows on it. The one function we have use that is very nice is how quickly you can heat up water to a boil using the "P" level.
Response from frigidaire.comBy MaicoOnline Outreach SpecialistJanuary 19, 2026
Hello there, DNDWF! Thank you for sharing your detailed experience with your new induction range. We completely understand that there can be a learning curve with touch-sensitive controls, and, understandably, older cookware may not be compatible with these are common challenges with induction technology. We also hear your concerns about the user manual and the all-black cooktop showing smudges and water marks; it can be frustrating when the product doesn’t perform exactly as expected right away.

It’s great to hear, though, that you’re enjoying the “P” function for quickly bringing water to a boil; efficiency is one of the key benefits of induction cooking. Your feedback about the manual and control sensitivity is very valuable and will be shared with our product teams as we continue to improve our appliances.

If you have any additional suggestions, comments, or concerns, please connect with us via Live Chat on our website or by calling Customer Support at 1-800-374-4432. We’re available Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. EST.

Thank you again for taking the time to share your insights, and we hope your induction range continues to provide fast, efficient cooking experiences. - Maico

Like Cooking with Gas (without the Gas)
on March 22, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pans get hot very quickly. It's like cooking on gas but much safer. Even safer than electric. Convection oven works like a charm. You can get fancier, but quality wise...this unit has its covered. No regrets on not spending more.

New stove
on June 4, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The stovetop touch screen has been difficult to turn on burners, but all is good once the burner finally does start
Response from frigidaire.comBy SamOnline Outreach SpecialistJune 5, 2026
Hello MCW45!

Thank you for sharing your feedback on the Frigidaire Gallery 30" Freestanding Induction Range with Total Convection, model GCRI3060BF.
We’re sorry to hear that you’ve experienced difficulty activating the stovetop touch controls. We understand how important quick and reliable burner response is for a smooth cooking experience. We’re glad to know that once the burner starts, everything performs well, but we also want the full operation to feel effortless from the start.
For best results, we recommend ensuring the cooktop surface and your fingertips are clean and dry, as moisture or residue can sometimes affect touch sensitivity. If the issue continues, we suggest a quick power reset by turning off the unit at the breaker for a few minutes, then restoring power. If the concern persists after these steps, it may be helpful to have a service technician inspect the control panel to ensure everything is functioning as designed.
Thank you for choosing Frigidaire Gallery and for taking the time to share your experience.

If you ever have any questions or need assistance in the future, please do not hesitate to connect with us via live chat or by phone at 1-800-374-4432, Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.–8 p.m. EST, and we will be happy to assist. Thank you again for choosing Frigidaire! ~Sam

Terrible design
on December 14, 2025
Posted by: Urban chef
Everything functions and works as a new stove should. My last stove had knobs for the burners and a touchscreen oven control so I didn’t think it’d be a huge deal to go full touchscreen. Boy was I wrong, it’s like the designers have never even used a touchscreen or cooked for that matter. It takes 6 separate button presses to turn a burner onto temperature 2 which is a good temp for eggs. That takes 7.5 seconds to do, not only because of how many presses are required but also because the stove has a short delay between responding to presses.
If you’re an infrequent cook who uses burner one time per meal this is over 2 hours of button pressing a year.
Keep in mind you have to turn on burners multiple times since they auto turn off if you lift a pan to drain water, add water or scoop in ingredients from the cutting board, or even if you lift it for a few seconds to flip something in it.
So do not buy this if you’re planning to use it to actually cook and not just warm things up. I use two burners almost every meal and they turn off on me multiple times. I bet I’d spend 10 hours a year turning this thing on if I kept it.
I’m positive the only reason Frigidaire got rid of knobs is because a touchscreen is cheaper and more likely to break requiring us to buy a new one.

Good day, Urban chef! Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback about your new Frigidaire stove. We sincerely appreciate your honesty and completely understand your frustration. Transitioning from traditional knobs to a full touchscreen interface can be a big adjustment, especially when it affects how quickly and intuitively you can control your burners.

We hear your concerns about the multiple steps required to adjust burner temperatures and the automatic shut-off feature interrupting your cooking. Your experience highlights the real-world challenges of touchscreen controls in everyday cooking, and your feedback is invaluable for us as we continue to improve our designs.

We want you to know that your satisfaction is very important to us. If you would like to discuss potential solutions, tips for optimizing touchscreen use, or any other assistance, please reach out to our Customer Support team via Live Chat on our website or by calling 1-800-374-4432. Almost, but not quite
on November 1, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the looks and function of this range, when it functions. My range arrived with both front legs bent, so it can't be raised or leveled, and the storage drawer jammed shut. Also, only 1 of 4 burners works. You read that correctly. One of four burners functional. It's clean, and when I tested the oven it smelled like new manufacture, so I think it's fresh from the factory. Quality control must've taken the day off. Ridiculous.
