Not just another pretty stove, performance to back it up!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently finished our kitchen upgrade with the Frigidaire Gallery 30” Freestanding Induction Range with Total Convection, and this range has been a real game changer. From the moment we unboxed it, it was clear this wasn’t just another shiny appliance. The sleek stainless-steel finish with the rear controls gave our renovated kitchen a clean, modern look. Looks aside, this range really performs. The cooktop takes the flat-top concept to a whole new level with the 2-in-1 bridge element. This is something I had never seen before and it lets you use the two burners on the left separately or combine them into one big cooking space. Perfect when you’re working with larger pans or griddles. This was my first time cooking on induction, and I have to say I was impressed. The cooktop heats up fast with no preheating, and I boiled a pot of water in under a minute. The heat is not only quick but consistent. No more hot spots burning one side of the pan while the other side struggles to warm. And if you need that extra push, the PowerBoost mode cranks things up to the next level. The oven is just as impressive. We found the oven to be pretty spacious with lots of cooking room. The convection oven is a first for us and we found that we no longer had to worry about rotating the pan for even cooking because the fan located in the back seemed to circulate the hot air evenly for a perfect cooking temperature throughout the entire oven. My family’s new favorite is the built-in air fryer. It lets us cook way more food than our little countertop version, and everything comes out crispy all over. We haven’t even scratched the surface yet on what this range can do and features like the Air Sous Vide are still on my list to try, but we’re excited to see what else it can do. On top of all that, cleanup is simple, which is a big deal in our house. Overall, this range doesn’t just look good, it backs it up with performance. It’s taken our kitchen to another level, and we couldn’t be happier with it.

A Great Product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After our older stove failed, we started looking at the current options for a replacement. After careful consideration, we went with the inductive stove because we can use a protective cover over the top while cooking. This makes it so clean up is easy, and the stove top never gets scratched. We opted for the stove that had the controls on the back due to our 6 dogs, that conspired to chew up the knobs on our grill that were in their reach. The "P" setting on the burners will quickly boil water, and the speed of pans heating up is great. It works extremely well with the cast-iron pots we like to cook with. We would 100% recommend this stove for anyone looking to get a great all-around product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The stove is beautiful. It boils water so fast and the air frying feature is fantastic, you can make something for everyone with the amountbof room in the oven. People say its hard to figure out how to turn the cook top on but it any takes a couple times and you get figured ut.

Terrible design

Everything functions and works as a new stove should. My last stove had knobs for the burners and a touchscreen oven control so I didn’t think it’d be a huge deal to go full touchscreen. Boy was I wrong, it’s like the designers have never even used a touchscreen or cooked for that matter. It takes 6 separate button presses to turn a burner onto temperature 2 which is a good temp for eggs. That takes 7.5 seconds to do, not only because of how many presses are required but also because the stove has a short delay between responding to presses.
If you’re an infrequent cook who uses burner one time per meal this is over 2 hours of button pressing a year.
Keep in mind you have to turn on burners multiple times since they auto turn off if you lift a pan to drain water, add water or scoop in ingredients from the cutting board, or even if you lift it for a few seconds to flip something in it.
So do not buy this if you’re planning to use it to actually cook and not just warm things up. I use two burners almost every meal and they turn off on me multiple times. I bet I’d spend 10 hours a year turning this thing on if I kept it.
I’m positive the only reason Frigidaire got rid of knobs is because a touchscreen is cheaper and more likely to break requiring us to buy a new one.

Good day, Urban chef! Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback about your new Frigidaire stove. We sincerely appreciate your honesty and completely understand your frustration. Almost, but not quite

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the looks and function of this range, when it functions. My range arrived with both front legs bent, so it can't be raised or leveled, and the storage drawer jammed shut. Also, only 1 of 4 burners works. You read that correctly. One of four burners functional. It's clean, and when I tested the oven it smelled like new manufacture, so I think it's fresh from the factory. Quality control must've taken the day off. Ridiculous.

Worst range I've ever used.
on January 5, 2026
Posted by: Thoughtful
As a stove this range is terrible. In order to start cooking you have to 1. Press the Cooktop power button, 2. Press the burner power button, and then 3. Press the burner power setting up or down multiple times. The buttons are extremely slow and unresponsive so this whole process is a huge pain. Compare this to a standard stove with dials where all you do is turn the dial and instantly start cooking.
Then there's the constant buzzing, and the higher the heat setting the worse the buzzing gets. The control panel also makes a high-pitched noise that gets worse when the range is in use. Our dog runs to the far end of the house and hides whenever we turn the stove on.
And as if all those noises weren't annoying enough, it also beeps at you every time you lift the pan. Need to flip something over? BEEP. Need to shake something to stir it a little bit? BEEP. Moved your pan because you're done cooking? BEEP.
Just awful. I wouldn't keep this range if they paid me to.

Response from frigidaire.comBy Ruth, Online Outreach Specialist, December 3, 2025
Hi there. Thank you for your feedback and for sharing your experience with your new electric stove. We’re glad to hear that, aside from the burner settings, you are enjoying your appliance!
Regarding your concern, on some Frigidaire electric stove models, the burners are designed to start at a medium heat setting for safety and performance reasons. This allows the burners to heat efficiently and reduces the risk of accidentally setting them too high at startup.
If you’d like, our customer support team can review your specific model and confirm the recommended operation for your burners. You can reach us at 1-800-374-4432 or via live chat on our website Frigidaire Customer Support. We appreciate your feedback and hope you continue to enjoy cooking with your stove! Best Regards, Ruth
