Brand New and It came with a problem

2 weeks a go bougth but camen with a problem dont know if is software or hardware, the GPS got lost when you are running for 30mn or more moves the arrow to the factory in USA, got 2 other models FENIX 8 and TACTIX 8, in this one the battery run out really quick 6 days was the most can use the watch

Quatix 8--- Best Garmin Ever

I have owned a Vivoactive, Fenix 5 and Fenix 6S. The Quatix is levels above those watches. (The Fenix series watches were great by the way). My Quatix replaced the 6S. Seamless integration and transfer. Still learning about the new features, but for Garmin users, the basic operation out of the box was easy.

I had the Quantix 7 and loved the watch, but it didn't include an ECG feature, so I decided to purchase the Epix Pro instead. Once I heard that the Quantix 8 was being released, I knew I had to have it. As an avid boater, I really appreciate all the additional marine apps it offers.

It has great features such as it connects to the chart plotters and autopilot and both can be remote controlled from the watch. Fusion audio system can also be controlled from the Quatix 8.
The screen buttons to control the chart plotter and autopilot are quite small and difficult to control through those buttons (see picture) . The old Quatix 7 have bigger screen buttons and are easier to control.
Overall the Quatix 8 it is a great watch.

The watch is the most complete watch I have owned as a mariner. The boat app, tides, wind and ireach all met my expectations. Would like to see better marine weather especially winds intigrated in the phone. Currently tide stations are limited as to the number you can save would like to see more availabilty to add stations.

I was a little worried that it wasn't solar powered but it still lasts longer (11 days) rather than my quatix 6 (7 days).
