I didn’t know what I was missing with Google Pixel
on December 3, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Almost 10 years ago, my siblings and I gifted my mom a first generation of Google Pixel as soon as it debuted. I remember playing with the phone and finding it better than my own, but not enough to convince me to purchase one. Years later, I am quite impressed by what I have been missing.
We love Google devices in our home, use Google Nav daily (for reviews and locations of new places to try), and have Nest and YouTube Premium subscriptions. It would only make sense we might have fitness trackers, and phones, too, but we got used to what we’ve been using for years. Plus the green bubble debacle. Lol. However, issues with media message quality appear to have been resolved, even if the bubble is still green.
I must say, compared to my current phone (which is also a latest model) the picture and video quality are incredible!
Pros: - Side by side comparisons showed me crisper images and true colors in real time. This is with standard settings. I was quite impressed. Video was smooth, and also clear with true colors. - There is no permanent black bar at the top of the screen taking up precious space. - I can unlock my phone with fingerprint scan (again, yay!), face scan, or code. - Standard apps are what I already use almost daily. I was allowed to choose which I wanted installed when I first used the phone. - On the Locke screen, Google Home is easily accessible. Love that. - Right swipe upon opening, gives me info I’d love to have without overwhelming my Home Screen. Like weather and air quality widgets. Plus the news. - USb-C charging. Great as we move to be more universal with less cable clutter! - You can screenshot and snip easily when you hold and swipe to change or close an app. - Good quality sound for up to the ear calls, and on speaker for calls or playing music.
Cons - (Sort of) The colors for the Google apps are so similar in color, it was slowing me down when trying to locate the right one. I realized they were in alphabetical order, so that did help a bit. I learned to ignore icons for a bit. - No camera button. Would help when trying to quickly take a photo before missing a perfect moment, or memory. - No easy, or quick mute buttons outside of the phone. This can help with discretely muting a phone without having to take it out.
Honestly, what I found problematic was minimal. I am really liking this phone and those two buttons on the outside is all it needs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow!!! This phone is incredible. Feels very premium in your hands and has a great battery life. My favorite part about this phone is the camera. The level of detail it can capture is phenomenal! Adding to that, there are several tools that help make every photo you take a quality one. Display is also very vibrant and the processor makes switching between applications very snappy. I am very impressed with the google pixel 10 pro

Google Cooked Up its Best Phone Yet
on December 3, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Out of the box, the phone feels like premium flagship phone. The matte back glass feels very nice and it is complimented by the polished aluminum frame which in fact helps with grip and esthetics. The camera bump at first glance looks out of place and unusual at first but its design is actually beneficial when it comes to setting down the phone on its back. There is absolutely no phone wobble. Its a small compliment to those who have used competitor flagship phones. The Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 front screen feels very premium and durable. The phone used for review has not had a case during its entire review life and there are absolutely no scratches on both the front and back screens.
Moving on to the UI. Google may have the best UI out of any smartphone on the market in my opinion. I have used iphones and various android phones in my life and its easy to say that Google has built the simplest UI but also carries a lot of customizable features like any old Android would. Apps and widgets are easy to customize. In essence, less is more and Google nailed it with this phone.
One of the biggest question people ask about this phone is its camera quality. The camera is an absolute workhorse. Its boasts a 50mp main lens with a 48 ultra wide lens and a 48mp telephoto lens. The front camera is a whopping 42mp which honestly makes selfie scary to look at because you can see all of the imperfections on your face. Scary! In terms of photo quality. The photo quality can be described as a contrasty, dramatic look with vibrant and pleasing colors which in terms give photos a pop without excessive saturation. Pro Res Zoom (100x) uses AI upscale. Its a nifty feature but not a huge selling point. There are many camera settings you can tinker with like RAW photos and 8k 30fps video recording. This phone really packs a punch with its camera capabilities. I particularly like video calling my friend because again, the front camera is the crispiest I've used in any phone.
With it being a Google phone, you'd expect it to come with google pre-installed right? Well it's no surprise that it does but it brings in so many other dedicated google apps that streamline what you do on your phone to whatever you do on your PC. My job particularly uses Google workspace for meetings, calendar invites etc. It syncs seamlessly so if I'm not anywhere near my work computer, I can send emails and take Google Meet calls directly from my phone. Its a nice benefit but of course use case varies. If you are a diehard google user, or just simply use Gmail, this phone will integrate with ease. The google eco system is not as harsh and off walled like some of its competitors.
In summary, The Google Pixel 10 Pro looks to take a podium position in the flagship phone lineup. Its physical design looks very reminiscent of other phones out on the market today but what's under the hood is where it shines. It has a simple but clean UI that offers very customizable features. Googles G5 chip provides plenty of power with it being heavily optimized for AI. Pairing this with 16gb of RAM proves to give you a phone that will hold up for many years to come. The camera competes with flagship phones and is nothing to overlook. You've got a triple rear camera system that provides excellent photo and video quality in most conditions. The front facing camera is an insane 42mp lens which proves to scare me everything I use it. The phone is an absolute workhorse for what it can do and is a worthy consideration when looking for a new smartphone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This phone is absolutely incredible. I use to be a long time iPhone user and was hesitant to switch, but now I never see myself going back. This phones capabilities compared to an iPhone are almost limitless. The camera quality is amazing, especially the 100X optical zoom option. The integrated AI software is absolute perfection as well.

Amazing battery life and incredible photos

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm thrilled to have my new Google Pixel 10 Pro phone! Setting it up was very easy; it took me about 18-20 minutes to transfer all of my data. I'm really impressed with how quickly the phone charged—it was fully charged within an hour. The battery life is excellent, making it perfect for vacations where you might have limited access to charging. The battery saver option is a fantastic feature that can be adjusted in the settings based on your usage or battery level.
The Gemini AI is the most advanced AI option I have ever had on a phone. It can literally hold a whole conversation with you. Another aspect I absolutely love about this phone is its camera. It takes fantastic photos and has a powerful zoom feature that allows you to capture details from a distance. The "Best Take" option is incredible, as it allows you to combine multiple shots into one perfect picture—an ideal solution for capturing kids' photos.
Overall, I am pleased with my new Google Pixel 10 Pro, and I absolutely love everything it has to offer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This phone is honestly amazing. The camera alone feels like having a mini professional setup in my pocket, super clear, great in low light, and so good for quick photos and videos. It’s fast, the battery lasts all day, and everything just feels smooth. I love how easy it is to use and how clean the screen looks. Definitely one of the best phones I’ve had. Total upgrade and totally worth it.

Great picture quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Picture quality and is absolutely stunning very clear and crisp images without any editing. The phone itself was heavy, but it gave a sense of durability. One night I forgot the charger and even after watching a movie it held its charge decently and the audio was clear but I didn’t think it was much different than other brands of equal quality.

Beautiful phone! So happy I made the switch!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I jumped to the Pixel 10 Pro after spending well over fifteen years on iPhone which felt a little like moving to a new country where everyone speaks the same language with a different accent. The first few days were clumsy while my thumbs hunted for buttons that only exist in my muscle memory. Once I settled in the whole experience felt fresh. The screen looks great the camera handles low light better than anything I have used and the battery easily survives a full day of school and clinical. Google perks like call screening and photo editing feel genuinely useful. I still miss a few iOS habits but I am surprised by how much I like this phone. It feels durable, modern, flexible and honestly fun to use.
