Issues with automatic setting

I just bought the MTR3 because of the automatic feature, unfortunately the unit shuts off on automatic mode after less than a minute. It is a brand new unit, I don't know if the RTD is bad or maybe there is an issue with the board. Either way, I am not happy with it. I replaced it for my old one which was perfectly good. I will reach to BROAN support and see if they can help me with this issue. I am very disappointed at this point but I am hopping it can be repaired
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Looks Promising—Installation Still Pending

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was drawn to the Mantra 30"range hood for its sleek stainless steel design and quiet operation. The 490 CFM blower seemed powerful enough for my kitchen setup, and features like SmartSense ventilation and ENERGY STAR certification were definite pluses.
The unit looks fantastic-even in the box. The stainless steel finish is modern, clean, and aesthetically appealing. It's clear the design was thoughtfully executed to complement a wide range of kitchen styles. I'm genuinely excited to install it once I'm able to work around my personal installation challenges.
Unfortunately, I ran into issues that prevented me from completing the installation by my review deadline. There wasn't enough detailed information available to determine whether this unit would be compatible with my project. I specifically needed a hood that could be installed beneath a microwave, and this model doesn't support that configuration.
My star rating is based solely on appearance and the clarity of instructions. I'm only deducting one point due to the inability to comment on its functionality at this time. I'd recommend future buyers confirm compatibility and installation logistics before purchasing.
Photo included is of the boxed unit, but I'm looking forward to seeing it in action soon!

This Broan range hood fan is Amazing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ABSOLUTELY love this Broan over the range fan or hood. It works well beyond my expectations! The fan power is amazing, it's the easiest fan hood I have ever had to clean. The way it's built is amazing for a daily life as far as use and cleaning. The buttons don't even have to be touched and it turns on, off, up, down, it senses when you're going to touch it. I use a normal stainless steal cleaner and I have no extra finger prints on it from constant use. 2 lighting options brighter and dimmer, either brightness is great lighting in my opinion. 3 fan options for any type of cooking you do, the high speed sucks out all that Garlic, onion, or bacon smells. My house never smells like what I cooked for hours now unless I want it to. Let me tell you steam or smoke gone in seconds, this hood has commercial power! I am blown away by how great it works. An auto on and off Feature. Installation was a breeze, my husband popped out the old one and popped this one into its place maybe a half hour. The instructions clear and simple to follow. Package was good, however it didn't need all the blue protection clinging to it in my opinion it was kind of a pain, but that's just me being Nitpicky. The buttons do have a kinda loud beep, also not really needed in my opinion or opinion to turn the beep off or just not be so loud. But honestly it's in no way a deal breaker again just me being nitpicky. So over all easy to assemble, easy to use and works amazing.

Amazing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this broan under the cabinet range hood for about a month now. This had beautiful stainless steel features and and the automatic heat sensing sensor that will turn on the fan in the mode you need it in if its in auto mode. Has a great set of led lights and I like the double grease traps underneath.

Quiet and fancy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recieved this a couple weeks ago and I am very pleased with it. It fit my space perfectly and has great ventilation. The lighting is just the right brightness and I love how all the buttons are easy to push and are not knobs to turn. It was simple to install and operates much quieter than a traditional over the stove hood. I highly recommend this product if you are looking to upgrade.

Didnt know I needed it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It runs very quietly.I had a bit of a hard time getting the electrical step up by myself, so i called a handyman. But it was something i didn'tt know i needed. Now i dont need to close the kitchen door when cooking to keep the smell contained. The fan also has various speeds, and im so surprised at how quietly it runs.

Fantastic unit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is perfect. It’s quiet, light, super easy to install (note electrician is required). It has a built in auto function that will turn the exhaust on if the heat sensor senses excessive heat, the lighting is fantastic super easy to clean and just what I needed to update my kitchen.
