Shipped in CRT mode, capped speed

I received this hood last week and had it professionally installed yesterday. After installation we realized it only cycles through speed 1,2,3. No 4th speed. According to the instruction manual this means the device is in CRT 300 or 400 mode (no telling which one). However, we NEVER activated this mode. I am not even sure how to. Now we are working on a return ($$) and will need to pay for another unit to be installed (more $$).
Very disappointed this made it through Broan's QA process.

Very efficient and great design!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m very impressed with the 30” Stainless 640 MAX range hood. The quality of the parts are unmatched and extremely appealing to the eye. The stainless steel is the perfect compliment to my kitchen, as well as easy to clean. I love that the adjustable telescopic flue is easy to adjust for higher ceilings. I also love that the base is strong and durable. The LED lights are great and I think they make cooking even better. The vent is very quiet when in use but is able to clear smoke and odor effectively from the air. The filters are easy to put in and take out for cleaning, they are even dishwasher safe! Overall this product is superior and I’m greatly impressed with each detail and function. I would highly recommend it.

I have received many compliments about my new kitchen remodel and the hood has really been a center point in the decor. Very easy to install and the end results are perfection Broan has always been a great brand for style and reliability of their products. I love the design. I would definitely recommend Broan Elite to any one wanting a great product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to get this put up in our kitchen! It didn't take long for us to get it installed. It's super stylish with a sleek design! It works really well with getting out strong odors in the kitchen. The air in the kitchen and the house has a more fresh scent now that we have this ventilation hood range. The sound is quiet while in operation, which is a plus. It's really convenient having the remote, also. I love not having to get up in order to operate it. Everything, including the digital display is a huge upgrade. I truly enjoy having it in my kitchen!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m very happy with my new hood. It’s beautiful. Love the buttons, very low profile so easy to clean around. The low speed fan is barely noticeable but the next speed is a lot louder. I rarely use that one. The LED lights are great! Very bright, illuminating the entire stovetop.

It was easy to install only took about 30 minutes and it gets the bad air out while cooking ni more smelling oil from when we fry food. The led light is nice and bright so you can see your food when cooking.
