[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently built the MEGA™ Hot Wheels® Mercedes-Benz 300 SL, and it turned out to be an awesome experience! The design really captures the classic 300 SL look — especially the iconic gullwing doors and silver detailing. The build was fun and moderately challenging, which makes it great for both teens and adult collectors.The pieces fit together nicely, and the final model looks very premium on display. The instructions were clear, though a couple of small parts required extra patience. Once completed, it feels sturdy and looks almost like a die-cast model rather than a brick build.
I would recommend this to a friend!

NEVER BUYING THIS AGAIN

EXTREMELLY TERRIBLE BUILD. Firstly the build is super boring at the start - they have you build a lot of plates before getting to the exciting car exterior. The car starts to fall apart before I even complete the build, and I have no idea where are the pieces falling from. Each time I grab it, SOMETHING FALLS of - the doors, the trunk or random decorative pieces. Can't even display it as it looks terrible.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toy is great for anyone who loves cars and likes to build. I like how it's a mix of hot wheels and brick building. Great line extension. With 1600 pieces it will take some time to put together. The learning gained through the process is immense. You will learn about how cars work, math, instructions, how to build things. These kinds of toys are wonderful.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great build with easy to follow directions -took one long afternoon to complete and came with extra pieces if you want to make the car into a racing style with decals. I didn’t put the decals on it as I wanted the classic car look for my display but overall very happy with this set and the bonus small scale car that came with it! All the bags were clearly labeled and it was a relaxing afternoon with an awesome car build! Would recommend to brick builders!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My review of the Mercedes 300sl hot wheels brick shop set left me in total amazement! I choose to build this set with my teenaged daughter as a bonding time to which I shared with my dad back in my day working on cars in his garage. Instead of getting yelled at to pass a wrench I watched my daughter take the lead on building this project. The quality and details of the Brick Shop surpasses the competition in the brick building sets out there today. The bricks snapped together with precision and ease. With hoses and tubes that mimic the real car’s engine and mechanical parts that work together to function as a car should, this building set came together with pure enjoyment. The end result of Mattel’s brick shop set was a beautiful show piece that we’ll proudly display on a shelf. I loved everything that this set offered. From the precise details of the 300sl to the metal parts that enhanced the car and even the smaller Hot Wheels die cast Mercedes that could be displayed on its own.

Great Display Car

With 1600 pieces, this building set is great for people who love building blocks. The details of this build are really neat. The engine pops open with the push of a button inside the vehicle. The steering wheels actually turn the front wheels of the car. The trunk even includes a spare tire. Even though this says for 17+, my 11 year old had a ton of fun building this. The instruction book is rather large but to be expected with the level of detail this build offers.

It took my kids no time at all to get it all put together!! Nice collector car to add to any collection or can be played with as well!! Awesome product!!
