[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loved this product! It’s a great build! Super detailed instructions. Love that you can customize it to a race car if you want. Lots of spare parts in case anything happens. Looks like the real thing. The hood and doors open and stay open for display.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Stunning Lego set and model Mercedes with plenty of intricate details, including assembling the wheels and the movable doors. It is great for car enthusiast to have in their collection or Lego enthusiast to have in theirs or hot wheels enthusiast it’s kind of the best of both worlds. My favorite part is the mini hot wheels model of the car that you build. Nice surprise bonus.

An Amazing Showpiece

The amount of detail on each piece is so similar to the real car - you really feel like you have the real thing in front of you. It takes patience and a calm hand to work on it - but it is worth every moment. It's a beautiful piece.

Well Built Brick Model

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a very fun project to build. it reminded me a lot of Lego building. The amount of detail was very nice, especially at this price point. I would have like to see a stand this could have been mounted on after you build it. I think the steps could have been consolidated to reduce build time and fatigue. I did like how the model has rubber bands to help show the different aspects of the model. The quality of the bricks seemed to be on par with Lego.

Great but...

Great value for the money. Danish company finally has a formidable competitor. Now about this model.
Pros:
Great model, beautiful design and these metal parts and custom molds are exactly what this model needs.
Con's:
I have purchased two of these with the intention of building both versions of this car. Both of which had variations of brick color. It's like 50 shades of blue. A lot of bricks had some black goopy smudges on them. Come on Mattel you need slightly better quality control. Sticker quality is also not the greatest. Luckily stickers are pretty much optional. Because of color inconsistency and goop I can not give this model model more than 4 stars.
Let's backtrack to pros. It was nice to see the windshield and rear window wrapped in protective tissue.

Fun set to build as a family

Our family is building this set together and it is fun to see all the car pieces that make the car come to life. The mix of bricks is great too, and they bring out the realness of the car. There are over 20 bags of bricks but the book does a great job with instructions.
