Not on Track!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Hot Wheels Racing track was a complete disappointment for my 8 year old son. At first he was super excited about playing with this track but quickly lost interest. He thought the snap together track was great until it kept popping apart, he says that the track changer should be skinnier to make it easier for the cars to go through. His frustration mounted when he couldn't easily get the race cars moving as intended. He did finally figure it out, but it took a while. He played with it for several days and has not gone back to it.

Fast, Fun, and a Little Frustrating

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We set up the Hot Wheels Formula 1 Race Track in our living room last weekend, and it truly is a kid’s dream come true—fast cars, looping tracks, and nonstop excitement! The three included cars look sleek and zoom impressively when the track is running smoothly. My child was absolutely captivated by the action and loved cheering as each car sped around the curves.
However, assembly took longer than expected. The instructions were confusing, and it wasn’t clear how some track pieces or stickers fit together. Once assembled, the racing is awesome to watch, but keeping the cars going without stalling takes a bit of practice and patience. It’s definitely more fun once you get the hang of maintaining the right speed and rhythm.
Despite the learning curve, the Hot Wheels Formula 1 Race Track delivers big on fun and excitement. It’s loud, flashy, and full of energy—just what every young race fan dreams of. With clearer instructions, it would be an easy five stars!

Battery Free Racing Fun

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were so excited to try out the Hot Wheels Racing™ Formula 1® Sprint Race Circuit. We love the feel of the cars. They are die-cast and sturdy with fun designs. Three cars are included. Assembly was not too difficult. Putting the stickers on may have been the toughest - just to make sure they were on properly. The pieces snap together pretty easily. Once we were set up we were ready to play. There are two ways to play. Lap race or infinite race - both just depend on the flag placement. You pump the launcher to get the cars boosted. *Most* times the cars take off as they should, but sometimes they get stuck at the starting line, or on a curve, which can be frustrating for littles. All pieces seem sturdy and durable. There are also adapters included if you wanted to add pieces from other sets! Overall it’s a fun, battery free toy that you can race several ways.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Stalled before lap 1

Grey pole jams with any vibration as the barrier just drops. Any vibration drops it thus negating the set’s purpose. Cars also easily stop mid way as they pack inertia, the pedal is not strong enough. excessive pedal spin needed to accelerate the cars, but the atrocious pole approach is inexcusable as one has to return the set with very disappointed kids. Who designs such a flimsy barrier? Was this ever tested. There was also another Mattel lap system that broke the actual pedal in 15 tries, so 2 lap concept games failed In a row.

Great buy hours of fun

Rev of a good time

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Highly recommend Hot Wheels Racing™ Formula 1® Sprint Race Circuit. Took a minute to understand how to put it together with the double curve.
My 16 year old, and 5 year old put it together and had a great time using it after they applied the colorful stickers.
Youngest was able to figure out how to get the cars up through the curve tracks first. It amazed how easy he could do it and his brother could not. They spent a long time playing with the cars seeing which ones were faster, how many times they could stay looping. All we heard was revving.
Highly recommended, still sitting on the wood floor, being used. Stable, not flimsy.
Happy giggles.

Fun, engaging track!

He loves pressing the lever to make the cars go faster for each lap, and loves declaring who the winner is. It was easy to set up, fun to use, and engaging for extended periods of time.

Fun toy for a four year old who loves speed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was such a fun racetrack for my four year old son. It was easy to put together and only took about 8 minutes including adding all of the stickers on. I also downloaded the Hot Wheels app and it gives ideas of how to connect other tracks to make the track even larger. We played this on the floor in our living room and my son loves pressing the pedal as much as he can to keep the cars zipping around the track. The cars did occasionally fly off the track when he was going wild pressing the pedal. The toy is also a little loud with the pedal being continuously pushed to keep the cars going faster on the track. He also enjoyed pulling the flag up to keep track of the laps the car does on the track. Overall it’s a great toy for my four year old who loves speed!
